Lipo and Mini-Tummy Tuck Procedure - Columbus, OH

I'm getting married in June and after 2 kids and much stress I decided to get a Tummy tuck and Lipo of my whole stomach and flanks. My procedure took place on April 10 so That makes me 2 weeks pot op on tomorrow. I didn't have the issues that so many spoke of. I think I walked hunched over the first day definitely cand Probably the next. After that I was walking fine. I stop the pain meds after day 2 and only took the nerve and muscle medicine. I had my drains removed on day 6 which was a Monday and as soon as I got them removed I went with my fiance and walked 2 1/2 miles on the trail and felt lovely. My only complaint right now is that my stomach is not flat enough for me and it feels so hard. I can literally feel my ribs but my stomach is hard and the incision area is still puffy. My love handles or flanks I must say right now is the best piece of art. You can clearly see the difference. I guess I just need to be a bit more patient with the front part of my abs and wait for the results. I would definitely do it again because I had a wonderful experience.

If you are in the Columbus area I would highly reccomend Dr. Bivik Shah. He is very intellectual and also he is always available for you if you have any concerns. My surgery was excellent. I didn't have any issues that I read from previous postings. So far everything has been smooth sailing. I'm just waiting for this front section to be smooth out. My love handles are gorgeous. I'm at aww when I look into the mirror.

Thank you that actually meant alot because I'm really not feeling the side view at all. But I have been told to just be patient. The incision area is really hard and swollen so hopefully it softens up and get flatter. Lol. Thank you

Hi there, thanks for sharing your journey with us. You're looking good in your post-op pics, I'm glad everything went well for you!

Okay today is May 1 and I'm exactly 3 week post op. On this past Sunday my navel area started draining something terrible. It's still actually draining a lot but the crazy thing is I like it becausemy stomach is actually much flatter. I hate having to keep changing the gauzes over my navel though. Lol. I will post up to date pictures later.

Okay today is May 12 and i'am 5 weeks post op. I must say I'm starting to really like my results. I'm sure I still have more healing to come so that's good. I haven't started exercising yet but I do go walking everyday. Here are some photos that I just taken.
Thank you soooo much. :-) The funny thing is, I didn't went through a lot of pain and discomfort, and I had a lipo of the full ab as well as a mini tuck. I was walking the trails at day 6 with my boys. I stop taking the pain meds at day 3. I prepared myself before the surgery by taking in a lot of protein. It suppose to help with the healing process. I was intaking at least 80 g of Protein a day. But I'm not sore at all. Well sitting down for a long time and getting up I feel really tight. But so far so good. Thank you again.

Okay, today is May 22 and I'm 6 weeks post op. I feel really good. Still a little drainage from my navel area but not much to sing about. My figure is looking lovely I must say. I do have some pictures that I will soon put on the site that was taken before the surgery. I will also take more pics in a couple of weeks to show more results of the "Good Doctor" work. Lol. I still wear my Compression Garment, in fact it feels so weird without it. I haven't done any exercise still yet except for walking miles on the trail. I still go through my swell days but nothing too extent. But I will definitely keep you posted. Until next time stay Beautiful.

i just signed into this site procedure is in 3 days...i'm excited and nervous..i've got that same belly fat that hangs main concern is the pain afterwards..the soreness...but i figure i've given birth to 4 children..this procedure can't be that bad?...still excited..ready to do this!!!...your after shot looks great!
I Youtube a lot of information but after my process and surgery I realized that everyone must be different. aaia'm being totally honest with you when I say that I did not feel the pain that everyone else claim they went through. I got home and was out of it because of the meds. I climbed up my 12 steps to go into my bed room and went into the bed and was knocked out until about 3 in the morning. The next day my husband fixed me something to eat, I didn't eat all of it but I did eat. Truthfully, I believe that I could have went back to work after day 3. I stopped the pain pills after my 2nd day I think. I wasn't bent over like a lot of people said they were. I was walking straight after day 2 I would say. When you are sitting down for a long time you will feel sore. I still get that way now and I'm a little over 9 weeks. Its not a painful sore just sore like you was exercising. Only advice is intake a lot of Protein. Like shakes or peanut butter. It really helps on the healing process. I drinked a lot of shakes months before the surgery and I also did a lot of walking and I think that helped. On day 6 of my surgery I got my drains out and me and my kids walked the trail for about 4 miles. You will do just fine.

Hello Ladies. It's been 11 weeks since I had my Lipo of lower and upper abs, flanks and mini tummy tuck. So far so good. I was a little afraid to start doing my situps but I'm gradually starteing. My stomach still gets really tight when I'm sitting down for a long period of time. But the results are great. I do a lot of walking on the trail. I'm still happy about the decision I made to have this procedure done. I will submit more photos soon.

Columbus Plastic Surgeon

The wait time wasn't the best because he is a great surgeon and everyone want to get in to see him. I think on consultation day I waited for about 2 hours and I had an appointment. I feel they should make all appoints at least 45 minutes apart. Other than that I can't complain about anything else.
