Almost done...
Well I'm at almost 3 months post surgery for my TT.. it has been a Loonnnnggggg, tedious, painful and messy (at the start) recovery. Had a stomach wound so had to wear a wound vac for 5 weeks. Wound has healed. Still very swollen which will take a few more months to go down. Dr. Sozar has been wonderful thru this whole ordeal. Kind, caring and compationate.. so have all his staff. I can't wait for my next surgery. I wouldn't go anywhere else.. Thank u Dr. Sozar..
So far regretting getting the TT. Going on a month...
So far regretting getting the TT. Going on a month and have 2 very large holes in my stomach due to large hematomas and another small hole is forming. Have done rverything I'm supposed to do. No pushing, pulling, lifting, ect.. I guess everyone heals differently. I'm one of the unlucky, hard to heal people.
I'm waiting to hear if insurance will cover a wound vac. I pray they will!!! I'll let y'all know what happens....
