Well, I made it through Surgery!!
Hello there! Surgery was Tuesday, April 1 - please forgive typos, its hard to type!
I went in very excited to be migraine free and "refrehed". The surgery took, well, not sure how long, at least 8 hours. I bled, alot!! Which was suprising based on all my prepop testing. He could not do the turbinectomy, but did remove a spur in my nose and repaired a [erforated septum, that I did not know I had.
The surgery center staff, left something to be desired, the women were quite honestly [RS bleep], and I shall be writng a letter. The nurses were great - they always seem to be! :)
I was sent home very quickly after surgery and should have likely stayed longer in recovery but it was after 6:30 pm, and I went in around 8 am., I was completeley out of it when I came home, little pain, except for my arm - at the elbow, I told my BF, I think they dropped me on the floor!
Went back the next morning, still very groggy, needed help walking. They said I looked like they expected - purple with much swelling around the eyes. I had tubes in.
I went back each day, and on day 4, had the tubes removed, and showered, glorious!! I have been applying lots of polysporin to stitches, eye drops and trying to ease off pain meds. Its my arm and the swelling that are most bothersome at this point.
Because I am ambulatory, I feel like I want to do "stuff", but last night I didnt have the energy to heat left overs in the microwave. BF went out for food for us instead.
I took a bunch of pics before and each day, when I went to upload from phone to computer, I thinkI lost them. :(

I have suffered from migraines for nearly 30...
I have suffered from migraines for nearly 30 years, getting worse and worse each year. In 2014 I had 65 migraines - resulting in lost days from work, missed weddings, dates with friends, Mothers day with my kids, working out- so much!
Found Dr Guyuron, a leading expert in migraine surgery and facial surgeries. He will perform the migraine surgery, along with brow lift, and lower lift, along with some fat injections to lesson the hollows in my face and fine lines around my lips.
I am a little scared. my BF only knows about the migraine surgery, I did not want to admit to him the full extent, as he doesn't think I need it and worries I will look "done" like Joan Rivers. I will post pictures soon.

Dr. Guyuron was very conservative when I met him. He made no promises, nor did he encourage me t o do more. When I asked if he thought I could use any refreshing, he suggested the lower lift. So I am going for it!!
