5 months update

Its been 5 months since my arm lift and I can't believe how fast time has passed! My incisions are still numb but are starting to "wake up". My left arm scar has widened due to spit stitches, and my surgeon has offered to fix it however, I want to wait a year and see how it looks then. There is also a dog ear at end of my left incision and a weird bunch of old stretch marks at the back of my arm pit of my right arm. Dr. Leedy will be fixing those small imperfections in the fall.
Overall I'm pleased with the look of my arm but I will say, the scars are tough to deal with. They are still very red. I'm very fair skinned so I know they will be red for a while but I'm really hoping in time they will appear better than they do now.
I've never had small arms and I still don't but dr. Leedy made them fit my body and now I look proportional and I'm very happy with that.

Mepitac silicone tape

I started mepitac silicone tape ( 3 yards for $22 on Amazon) a week ago on my right arm. It's been so easy to apply and it stays on during my showers and workouts. I have sections of it on my left arm (still have some scabs from spit stitches) and see a huge improvement already!
I'm hoping my scars fade nicely overtime.
Aside from the stitch issues on left arm, everything is Healing great. Still have some numbness and odd sensations along incisions but everything is manageable and pain free at this point.

One month out

its been one month since my arm lift and I am very pleased with the results. I still struggle with body image issues and not actually seeing the results as they really are. Taking before pictures and comparing them to my arms now has really helped with my distorted view of my arms. I know they are much smaller and smoother and look like a perfect fit now with my body.
I had one minor "issue" of a popped stitch, but I called dr. Leedy and he saw me the next day to remove it. Other than that it's been a fairly easy recovery for the most part.
I'm back to 95% of my normal activies but haven worked out yet, although I've been given the all clear.
I credit dr. Leedy for my uneventful recovery. He took enough fat and skin to make a huge difference but not so much that I've had healing issues from pulling the skin too tight. The scar is already looking great and have confidence that it'll turn out perfect.
I'm pleased so far and can't wait to see if I'm confident enough to rock those sleeveless dresses and tops that have been in my closet for years ;)
