I am a very active 28 year old and have suffered with severe underarm perspiration since I was a teenager. I changed dress shirts 2-3 times during my work shifts, and my t-shirts were always a mess. Dr. Mendelsohn met with me to review the procedure and gave me realistic expectations on results. Dr. Mendelsohn numbed the area and then proceeded to perform the miraDry treatment. After getting the first treatment, I was sweat-free! I couldn’t believe how fast the treatment worked. There was very little discomfort and I returned to work immediately following my first treatment. I iced the area and took Advil for the remainder of that first day, however, I didn’t need to do anything the next day. I had my second treatment in June 2014, and since then I am completely sweat free. I recommend this procedure to anyone who is embarrassed by excessive sweating. I wish I would have known about this treatment sooner. The minute I found out about it, I booked my appointment. I no longer need to have my dress shirts specially cleaned or spending unheard of amounts of money on replacing clothing.
