How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.

Bigger is Better?

First of all I can't believe that I am already under a month away from my surgery date! I am fairly confident that I have read darn near every last review, journal, and piece of advice posted here on RS at this point and I am so appreciative of everyone that has shared their stories, tips, and random pieces of information. As I have sifted through the information, I have started to think that instead of the 600 cc silicone implants that my doctor and I originally discussed perhaps I should actually go with 700's. I have read a number of journals/reviews where women have reported back that they feel like they should have gone bigger, were slightly disappointed at the end result after their breasts had dropped, and that they were already looking forward to having another surgery to go up in size. As a result, I am really thinking that I should just go for it and go bigger- especially in light of my size (5'6" with a wide chest and wide shoulders) and based on the fact that they will be placed under the muscle. I have not yet posted pictures, but will do so tonight. Anyone else out there having the same issue with bouncing back and forth between sizes or have an opinion?

As a more "voluptuous" girl (5'6", 165 pounds, and barely a 38B), I've always felt like I am disproportionate from my top to my bottom and overall unhappy with my breasts and hips. After going around and around with it I decided to finally pick up the phone and see what I could do about it. Today I had a consultation with Dr. Clark Schierle, who was everything I'd hoped he be and then some. Dr. Schierle took his time with me, provided me with a wealth of information, and truly made my appointment about ME. I walked into the office terrified and excited and not really sure how it was going to go. I left the office even more terrified and excited, but now with the realization that I found the perfect doctor, the perfect facility, and that this is really happening. Dr. Schierle took the time to explain the different types of implants, the pros and cons of each, and how the procedure would be completed, while also listening carefully to me about what I wanted (something natural, contouring of my thighs and legs, etc.). When all was said and done we decided to go with HP, 600cc, saline implants, and I think they'll be absolutely perfect. I've also decided to go with liposuction to my tummy, flanks, and thighs to get some of the shape back to them. Dr. Schierle did say that a mini TT could be done as well but I balked. I can't bear the thought of the procedure and, let's be honest, the scar, so I wasn't quite ready to jump into that pool of water quite yet. Thankfully he said it would be minimal and could be done in the office at a later date if I wanted, so I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

I have no doubt that these are things that I want to have done, but I'm in awe that it's actually going to be done within the next 30 days! Is this real life?! I'd love to hear from anyone that's considering or scheduled for a similar procedure(s), or someone that's been through them before. Good luck to all! ;)
