Loving My Results Already - Chicago Tummy Tuck - Chicago, IL

Now I want a Brazilian Butt Lift

WORTH IT$6,200
Its been about a year and a half since I got my tummy tuck and I am still loving my results. But, I do wish I had got liposuction with my tummy tuck. So, now I have really been thinking about going to the Dominican Republic to get lipo with a BBL in March 2014. I would go back to Dr Horn (the plastic surgeon that did my tummy tuck), but I will have to save way more money to go to him.

I have posted some updated pictures of the results from my tummy tuck.

were you satisfied with wound be gone? im thinking about using it

Yes, it's expensive, but it definitely worked really good, but this should be used as your scar is healing. After your scar has healed, using the silicon strips is the next best thing to put on your scar

Please help a sister out and explain how I can actually spend less going to the DR? I'm asking because I was thinking about going to the DR(I hear great things about Dr. Duran in DR) as well for my TT but I thought it would be much cheaper if I went to Dr. Horn because he is here in my city.

It is now 8 weeks post-op. My doctor has cleared me to do some low to moderate exercising so I will begin that when I return from my Las Vegas trip next couple of weeks. I have also started my scar treatment. I use NewGel silicone sheets on my incision during the night while I sleep...they stick right on and I also still wear my compression garment at night. My incision is dark, but it is very thin and flat and has been healing very well these past couple of weeks. I no longer use the Wound Be Gone because everything has healed along my incision line. I still can't sleep on my stomach so sleeping has been a challenge and uncomfortable for me. I also still get sore when I sit for a long period of time and occasionally get swelling on the left side of my abdomen. I have added some new pics of my results during this recovery period.

I got my drains out on Tuesday June 12th it was such a relief...i was surprised it did not hurt coming out. I am finally able to stand up straight, however i get stiff and sore when i sit for a long period of time, but im able to move around more. I am also starting to use Wound Be Gone on my belly button and incision ..its looks to be working really well but it is quite expensive. My swelling goes up and down throughout the say but i have noticed that for the past few days the left side of my tummy is more swollen than the right side...hope that eventually evens out

Gretchen was really nice and kept me up to date. Today is the beginning of day 2 post op and I'm not feeling so terrible thank God. I slept well last night and I'm taking 2 Vicodin every 4 hours so I'm not in much pain. I am hoping to start weaning myself off of Vicodin tomorrow, at what point did you stop?

Do be silly! I am 3 weeks post op today and still occasionally need to take Percocet. Not too often but if I'm in pain, so be it! Happy healing!

For the first 3 days i took the vicodin every 4 hours faithfully. But then after that i would take it 1-2 times a day until it was all gone...still every once in awhile I will need to take tylenol extra strength at night because u will begin to notice that is when u are the most sore for some reason...well at least that has been my experience

I meant *don't be silly. :)
Take the necessary time to recover. It's imperative. It's ok to veg out for a week. Get up to pee, eat, lay back down. It's not going to be easy but once you get over that hump, it's so much better. I hate being unnaturally high but to avoid any pain, I'll deal with it. I'm sending you positive and healing thoughts. :)
