I did some research and went to visit with Dr. Ye , i have to admit that i chose him for three compelling reasons. He is Asian , reasonable price, and i had confidence in him based on our initial meeting. (BTW Julie is his right hand and she was fantastic!!!!) You can always reach someone by cell phone. Before and after. I called several times with nervous questions prior to my surgery and Julie answered right away and put my mind at ease. (i even called and spoke to her not knowing that she was on vacation, she was pleasant and professional). Dr. Ye's home and cell phone was available to me, but speaking with Julie always answered my question. Don't expect marble flooring or a beautiful, decor...everything is clean and no frills. I was given medication to relax me and when that didnt help (blephoraplasty under local anesthesia) i was given more anesthetic and Dr. Ye had no problem waiting for me to become comfortable and relaxed before he started. My procedure went as planned. I had swelling and bruising, i followed all of his recommendations exactly, went back in 7 days for suture removal and a filler to complete my look. I was denied the filler because i still had swelling. (i was ok with that) so i've got to return in 2 weeks for my final check up and filler. (i'm having artefill) Overall, great experience with Dr. Ye. My recovery was a bit challenging but i managed....constantly placing ice packs for the first day or so, then my heat, sleeping on multiple pillows...walking around looking as if i had been in a fight, etc...oh yeah, i expected to have pain after wards(I took only a couple of tylenol the first day or so).
