I have had Juvederm (twice) and Botox (6 times)....

I have had Juvederm (twice) and Botox (6 times). The key is to go to a VERY skilled Dr. and address your concerns. I went to a referred Dr. and had Juvederm. One vial in the lines on each side of my nose. It was WONDERFUL. Then 1 1/2 years later I went to a different doctor at a spa I usually go to for massages. She was running a coupon and I took the bait. This place is one of the nicest spas in our area and not cheap. The Doctor has her new Medical Spa attached to the hair salon and spa. I paid $550 and she injected me parallel instead of in my the lines. It did soften the area a little. What I wanted was the shadowing 1 inch below my nose on the side which is a very common area. She claimed that she could not get close to the nose due to hitting a vein and that Allergan suggested this technique. I don't know if this is true. Then I paid for 25 Units of Botox ($300) and she did not put it equally on each side which caused one eyebrow to be higher than the other. SO....make sure you go to a reputable Doctor. I just wasted $850 with the doctor and I can't get the Juvederm for another year.

If you have deep set eyes and deep lines in your forehead be careful. They can soften the lines a little. Not too much or you will have a smooth forehead and heavy eyebrows. The doctor can inject the botox at the arch and ends of your eyebrows for a lift. I truly believe this is a science. You need someone that knows the muscles and it an artist with the face.

I go back to my trusted Dr and will never leave him again for a cheaper Doctor with a coupon. I see him in 2 weeks for botox. He is a GREAT plastic surgeon too, Dr. Evan Sorokin in Cherry Hill, NJ. He also does injections. Dr. Sorokin documents where he injects so you can say what worked and where you might want more/less the next time. This way he can give you exactly what you want every time. These products can be amazing if injected properly! That is the KEY. Everyone wants your money, so get a referral by looking at a friend or actual work they have done in a book.
