4 weeks post op

Feelin good. I am able to roll over to sleep. Which is really nice. I am still swollen and so tired of being swollen. My scars are looking really good. I'm thinking of trying a lightweight workout regimen next week. I'm feeling like my muscles need it.

12 days post op

I have definAtly been emotional. Dr. Smith forewarned me. I cried most of the day on 2 days ago over anything. But it was a day I worked and had a day before at work that was so busy I didn't get a chance to sit down for 6 hours. I didn't take pain meds at all that day and I was in pain and tired. I finally broke down the next day and took some pain meds. Still waiting hours after recommended dosing to take anything. I'm really swollen and numb. I'm really trying to drink lots and lots of water to make this swelling go down fast! Very thankful after reading all you wonderful ladies stories, that my dr. Does not require me to wear my binder and also does not require me to keeps breast bound up and don't have to wear anything. Creates a lot of freedom which in turn helps with how uncomfortable I am with just the natural pain of surgery. I really cannot get my sleep pattern good I am sleeping still in a recliner I tried the bed once. I really miss the closeness with my husband though. He slept in the living room with me til 2 days ago. I can get up all on my own and he needs his sleep and energy for work. I have laid with him in the morning for brief snuggle times. I still haven't felt great in my clothes due to all the swelling and my posture is not normal. Leggings are my friend and cute cover ups I feel it hides my posture and swelling since co workers family and friends are understandably looking at my results secretly checking me out or boldly asking to see. I do look great but a lot of swelling and tightness. Amazed at how great though that my breasts feel. They are so natural feeling. I can't help but feel them, lol.

1week post op

I had my week post op today. I'm doing great. I'm recovered to the point he said most women are doing in their 3 rd week. I am a cosmetologist. I did 4 clients yesterday. Working my way slowly to have A full schedule next week. I am feeling good showering alone. I've given up the binder. I will use it while standing at work 8-9 hours a day. But I feel great. So excited still that I did it. I've not had a real bad day at all. Wishing all of you ladies well.
