Day 1 Post Op
I took the surgical bra off because I wanted to see where my breasts were at and I am so Happy! They're no longer saggy and no extra skin!! I can't wait to see how they look once they're fully healed :)
Back in April I started searching for a doctor who...
Back in April I started searching for a doctor who can do a breast lift but not just any breast lift. I wanted my natural, perky, and lifted beautiful breasts back from high school. I did not want any implants and the first 3 doctor's I saw said that if I wanted to achieve the full upper pole with natural and perkier breasts, they suggested implants. The first doctor wanted to do 325-350 cc which I thought was way too big for my breasts and plus I've lived with huge breasts all my life. Plus I just wasn't feeling him. The second doctor was nice and knew what he was talking about but wanted to give me 225-250 cc. Still, he didn't considered my option of no implants although the lift would've been cheaper there. The 3rd doctor was fairly still new to doing surgeries like about 2 or 3 years of experience at the current office he was working at. He was a sweetheart and very personable but was suggesting to use implants as well and said that if he did do a lift then he wouldn't lift it too high. The thing about my body shape is that I have a short torso so I need a serious lift. One thing I took away from seeing the first 3 doctors was to not settle for anything but only what you want for you! YOU DO NOT WANT TO FEEL LIKE YOU ARE BEING SOLD ANYTHING!
Now I still had 2 more consultation appointments with 2 other surgeons and at this point I had a lot more knowledge about what to expect. When I went to see Dr. Harper (which was my 2nd to last consultation) I was going to get a feel of how he was like. To my surprised, he knew exactly what I wanted. I didn't want to get rid of any breast tissue but I wanted what they call an auto augmentation which is where they use your own breast tissue to make the breast look like you've had implants but you don't. They use the tissue to make it fuller at the top of the breast which is what I wanted. I used to tell my husband, if I ever got a lift, I don't want implants and I only want the doctor to push up the breast tissue and get rid of the excess skin then seal it up. He did exactly that!! From the looks of my breasts while laying down from surgery this morning, they are higher and smaller and look lifted. I don't know how it is going to look but o know it is going to be amazing and way better than what it was before.
Dr. Harper is such a sweetheart and he has amazing bedside manners. The nursing assistants were so sweet and his office staff were so nice as well.
As I'm sitting here right now, covered up, sitting in a decline position on my couch, I can feel where the stitches are but I can also feel where the breasts have lifted. I cannot wait to see the results though :) I am so happy so far even though in kinda drugged up but I'm just so happy to have found Dr. Harper. Oh and I also cancelled my last consultation with the other surgeon because I knew for a fact Dr. Harper was the right guy.
I'll be posting more about the recovery and everything so stay posted!! And here are my before pictures the night before and day of with the markings :)
