Update

Aside from the rash, the BA recovery has been SO good. It's comical how bad that thing was and how ridiculously easy the transition has been to having boobs again. It's like my girls never left!

I've gone right back to doing everything I used to. I started driving around 4 days post op without any issues (i had stopped all meds at 3days), pick up my kids all the time, all house chores. I just haven't exercised. I get random partial numbness mainly around the lower portion of my boobs, but that's about it. Maybe I get morning boob as they feel a little sensitive when I wake? Nothing that bothers me too much though.

I think because of my small size my PS recommend that I go without a bra, so I've been braless since 3 days post op. They've been riding high so it looks like I'm wearing a pushup at all times lol! I tried pasties, but they made me itchy, so I'm looking for some nice cotton bralettes to keep the high beams down. Left side has dropped more than the right, but that's to be expected as my right side is my dominant.

All in all, I'm THRILLED with the job my PS did. I think my speedy recovery is really due to his expertise. There was so much back and forth about getting this procedure done, but now that I'm on the other side I am SO glad I did it!!!!!

Freak allergy

Hey Beauties, I have been completely MIA because the rash I had exploded into a crazy all over torso hell! We aren't 100% sure until we do some testing, but it looks like I had a strong allergic reaction to the antibacterial prep I used for my 2 showers pre op AND what they used again during surgery. I didn't run any fevers or get any infections, but my body (ironically NOT my beautiful new boobs) was covered in hives with no relief for 4 days until they decided to up my steroid prescription. If you want details I can elaborate, but just know it is such a rare occurrence and not something any of you should be worried about. It was hell though. And because of it I came off all meds by day 3 post op and can't say I really needed them either. A little discomfort, but nothing compared to the burning itch all over.

Again, I have the greatest surgeon and staff to support me through it. Make sure you ladies find someone you really like and know will take care of you, not just in it for big business or a "popular" dr!!!

Hope all you early July betties are healing and enjoying yourselves!!!

Called the doc

The rash actually is all around my torso, just the sides of my breasts, and down my back and between my hips. My Dr thinks it is due to the Norco (but why such a delayed reaction I wonder? I ) Thankfully I haven't been needing the full amount so I'm not worried about the pain.... just looking forward to the rash going away!!
