Still enjoying it!

Now it's all about maintenance. I go to the fitness center 6 days a week. I have a personal training and control my diet. Since the surgery, I lost 10 pounds, I went from a size 10/medium to size 6/small. The surgery is not the end of all. Yet it does give you a leg up to continue and enjoy drastic results.

Reality Check - 7 months after the Tummy Tuck

No photos, the excitement and the drastic changes of the first three months are gone. My body and the measurements have not change a bit the last 4 months. My body plateaued. Whatever I do my abdomen stayed the same. This is my ultimate figure.
I've been killing myself at the gym to get the body that I am dreaming of, and excuse me, that I paid for. I've been watching my diet, counting my calories, limiting my carbs and fat intake, nothing no change. However, I did loose back fat and my upper and lower body muscles are more defined. So there's some payoff, not my abdomen.
While I thought my abs were still swollen, I have been wearing a compression belt, or girdle or spanks to help with the swollen, I just learn, it’s residual fat from the surgery.
Yes, fat over by ribcage and my lower abdomen. The same fat I have been struggling to get rid of and went under the knife for it to disappear. Some of it is still in my body. Unless I go for a lypo, what I see today is the final stage, the best I can get.
The worst part of it, my lower abdomen is so hard. I feel a constant discomfort or sometime pain. -(

Before and After - Three Months Pictures - April 17, 2015

So sexy it hurts! Really, the last 2 week I have a pain under my right breast.... Hope it will go away soon. Today was the worst, yet, I wanted to post the picture that I just got from Dr. Stoeckel.

Wait times

Dr. Stoeckel was the third surgeon that I visited. I had a last surgeon to interview a week later. It took weeks to get the first appointment. Worth the wait. Dr. Stoekel is very professional, amiable, answered all my questions, discussed the procedure, and showed that he cares about his work. He was the most thorough of all. The best part of all, it's this drain-‐free technic that promises a faster recovery time, less swelling and less discomfort. First I did not mind, but now I certainly understand the advantages, no drain, less swelling (3 weeks after the surgery, I went 2 sizes down) and faster recovery (it's true). The patient coordinator was very accommodating. She was able to fit the surgery between 2 out of town trips, giving me plenty of time to recover. The pre-op and operation teams were top notch and took good care of me. I got detailed instructions for the pre-op and post-op surgery. But post-op was limited to immediate days. What was missing for me is a more detailed and documented instructions on what to do, what to expect in the days, weeks and months to come. So I wouldn't have to call so often. A+ to the doctor and the staff ... You cannot go wrong with them. It was such a good experience, that I wonder what else should I do next -:).
