2 Months Post Op

Just looked at my photos side by side...it's good to get a reminder on why I did this. I am pretty much back to normal, still a little sore and not back to full exercise. Sleeping has been the hardest because typically I'm a side sleeper and that is still uncomfortable. It's weird but I'm also having to get used to the way the new body feels...I kinda feel like an alien, lol! I really should go shopping I haven't really enjoyed this new body at all, I've been wearing baggy clothes and things that come up to my neck for so long, that I don't even know how to dress to show off my new figure :-)

6 Weeks Post Op

Things are getting back to normal finally. Back at work last week, sleeping in bed but not through the night yet, still painful turning. My lump has gone down a bit. I actually think the maidenform compression from Walmart for 8.95 helped more than the 71.00 medical grade one but the expensive one had more support a few weeks ago so it wasn't a total bust. My abs and sides are still really sore, my breasts are pretty tender. My doctor has been super supportive with keeping a close eye on my bump, hopefully it will dissapate without intervention. Super excited trying on clothes - I can actually wear a fitted shirt!!

3 Weeks Post Op

Finally got my drains out. What a relief! I feel almost normal with those out! Still not able to sleep in bed, too much twisting to get in and out. Overall this recovery has been a lot more challenging than I anticipated. Pretty sure I have a hematoma - Dr doesn't seem worried and said it would dissapate, but I am a bit freaked out after researching it and because of the big lump I don't really feel like I got the result I wanted. I don't feel like I'm anywhere near getting out of a compression garmet due to continued swelling so I'm going to invest in a marena stage 2. Would love to hear any advice on compression garmets for the long haul or advice on hematoma.

I picked Dr. Gryskiewicz because when I went to their office I was treated with kindness and respect. I felt like I was their only patient. They didn't rush me - actually it was almost the opposite, I felt like they didn't want me to leave :-). They made sure everyone of my questions was answered. He has a great reputation, the result pictures I've seen are what I am looking for, and the cost was what I expected with no surprises.
