Hey Family!!! I have not been on here in a minute. so much has happened in my little life since my last post. Well I finally finished all classes, testing so on and so forth. Got the approval from Aetna. How about I punked out twice and cancelled my surgery!!!! On Facebook listening to all those boo hoo cry me a river stories got me thinking twice. I had to have a heart to heart with my surgeon and a follow up visit with the shrink. I am hear today to tell you I am 14 days way from surgery......MARCH 30, 2016 IS MY DAY!!!! I started my 3 week liquid pre op last week on Wednesday and I am here to tell you....That [RS bleep] definitely aint easy! Yes I cheated not like I had a cheesesteak but going from eating to nothing but 800 calories of liquid per day is extremely hard. Anybody who says different is lying!!! I have gone through Ketosis, I have lost a couple of pounds (after I gained a few from quiting smoking cold turkey) and now I am just waiting for the day to roll up in the hospital like here I am!!! Boy oh boy I have gone through some trials and tribulations in this journey. WLS is not an easy process. Never judge a person till you walk a mile in their shoes. I pray that I am making the right decision and the Lord will order my steps!!!!

Got the call this morning from the surgeons office. Aetna approved my surgery. 03/02/16.... SAVE THE DATE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Family.... I know I have been neglecting you guys and have not posted in a while. I have been so busy between working 2 jobs, on FB support groups and RS, I sometimes don't have time to pee straight....LOL.... Now its all about the wait!!!! Finished 2 month nutrition/ weigh in waste of time. The paperwork went off to the insurance week before last. I hope to hear something either end of the month, beginning of the next. I am not in a rush. I wanted to go end of January but looks like I am going to have to wait till end of February. Hopefully, I can get my life right by then. I know im going to die when I have to do the 3 week liquid pre op. No pain no gain....RIGHT??? I have tried to catch up with everyones post to see how things are going. Seems like everybody is well. I will post an update soon as I hear from Aetna. They make me sick, move like turtles. I hope everyone has a blessed & safe holiday :)
