Even a DD or DDD Can Benefit from a Reduction

About 6 months ago I saw a post from an instgrammer about having a breast reduction, even though she wasn't considered that big to most people. I was a 36DDD on one side and a 36 DD on the other. I never really considered myself big enough, but I had always had problems from my chest. I couldn't wear anything but a sports bra. I couldn't find button up shirts to properly fit me. I never felt like I stood up straight.

Fast forward and after submitting photos to my insurance, my reduction was fully covered. I had a vertical, or lollipop, breast reduction on Sept 20th. The pain from the surgery was manageable, but the bruising and pain from the liposuction they gave me was pretty bad and a lot more intense than I expected. I had my drains removed after 3 days.

I was worried about my results with a vertical reduction, but like my PS said, the "dog ears" under my breasts tightened right up. After only 4 weeks, I LOVE my results. I wore a strapless bra for the first time the other day. I'll update on my healing!
