Official before and afters!

My PS sent me my official before and after photos! The after picture was taken at my last appointment and the before was at my consultation. I really can't believe all of the improvements that she made. Recovery wasn't easy but I would do it all again. Being the perfectionist that I am, I can't believe how happy I am with the results.

2 months Post Op

So between the last review and now, there have been a few developments:
I had another spit stitch earlier in the month in my T-incision. It sucked and was in there a while so I had to get another numbing needle to get it out. After it was out, I healed back fairly quickly. The stitch did set me back on getting my restrictions lifted at 6 weeks due to the location.
Fast forward, I had an appointment a week ago and my PS confirmed that my incisions have closed and I'm officially off restrictions. My PS is happy with my healing and my scars are doing well. She gave the green light for me to start scar therapy. My next appointment is in October.
Physically, I'm doing pretty well. There is still some swelling and due to increased blood flow, I've noticed fine black hair around my incisions. It's a common thing but it definitely freaked me out at first because I'm not a hairy person. I've started fully working out and it feels great to be active again. I love not having to wear 2 sports bras. Recovery is definitely a marathon and not a sprint but I think I'm on the other side now and I couldn't be happier.

Steristrips are off!

Little more than 5 weeks here. I'm feeling really good and less sore. Still very minimal feeling in my right nipple. Left has finally calmed down as far as hypersensitivity. I've started getting active again (taking longer walks, etc). It took long enough but my strips are finally off. I still have a few scabs here and there but over I'm happy with my healing. I have an appointment with my PS on Tuesday.

I can not say enough positive things about Dr. Amaka. She changed my life. I've struggled with large breasts for years and always put off having the issue addressed. It really started impacting my quality of life in the past few years and I knew something needed to be done. I spent hours researching when I came across Maxwell Aesthetics. I read Dr. Amaka's profile and immediately knew that she was my match. I went to my consult and knew that I wanted to work with her. She made me feel so at ease. Fast forward after my reduction, I couldn't be happier. She really listened to me. She got me to the size I wanted and it was so beautifully done. I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon to work with.
