32 D at the moment!

I lost a bit of weight and I measured myself last night! I’m a 32 D! Of course i don’t plan on buying any bras until 3 to 6 months post op but this isn’t looking too bad ????

Weird Rubbing Sensation

I am in love with my boobs and my confidence has risen 10 fold!
I do my massages daily still and my husband and I noticed that my boobs are getting SO soft! But just 2 days ago I started feeling a weird rubbing sensation in my right breast and just barely in my left. It doesn’t hurt and I don’t feel it unless I lift my boobs.
It’s kind of scary because I am really afraid of getting capsular contracture but my PS office told me not to worry. I really hope it’s nothing ????

ULTIMATE BREAST AUGMENTATION POST-OP GUIDE

Hey! These are lists of things that I did or wish I did that really helped me get through the first week of HELL. There are 5 categories: CLOTHING; HYGIENE; FOOD & MEDS; USEFUL ITEMS; and TIPS & SIDE EFFECTS. Check these lists and learn something new! Enjoy~

—C L O T H I N G—
“Don’t wear anything that has to be pulled over the head, wear a button up shirt for surgery”

• Get stretchy clothes or clothes with a big enough neck to pull up from the bottom.
- Dresses, off shoulder shirts, rompers, active wear.
• Wear a tank top under your recovery sports/compression bra.
- Wear same bra for multiple days.
- Buy multiple bras (3 total) so you can have. rotation while you wash the others.
• Wear active shorts with underwear lining
- Pulling up leggings is a STRUGGLE.

—H Y G I E N E—
• Micellar water and cotton pads to wash your face.
• Deodorant wipes for your underarms
• Baby wipes for around chest.
• Keep hair in a loose scrunchie or curly tie
- Have a girl tie your hair up, my husband couldn’t do it.
• Someone trying to wash your hair in the shower without getting bandages wet is too complicated and not worth it.
- if you’re rich enough (I’m not), you can go to the salon and have them wash your hair for you.
• Move soaps and frequently used items to hip height.
- Taking a shower on my own I had to use my foot to push the pump down.

—F O O D & M E D I C I N E—
• DON’T drink tons of WATER immediately after post op and while still on pain killers and antibiotics.
- You’ll notice more bleeding and more bloating if you do.
• You really should eat something with medication to reduce nausea.
- Try to aim for foods greater than 200 calories.
- Protein bars ftw!
• PERCOCET (prescription pain killer)
- Instead of going with one pill straight after surgery, start with one half.
- I never had to use one full pill at once even though the dosage is 1-2.
- Try to switch to 600mg Ibuprofen ASAP. Percocet’s side effects are not worth it if you’re not in as much pain anymore.
• MUSCLE RELAX
- Not only will it ease the tension, but it will help your implants drop more quickly too.
• AVOID SALT
- Ask for less salt or none when ordering.
• SMOOTHIES
- Frozen mixed berries with some OJ or Almond milk and also banana or avocado.
- Get in calories and nutrients when you can’t/don’t feel like eating food.
• BIRTH CONTROL PILLS
- I did not need to stop, however verify with your PS.

—U S E F U L I T E M S—
• LAPTOP TRAY or collapsable standing tray
- Or move up your night stand to more convenient position.
- Put food, remotes, meds, etc. for an easy reach.
• STRAWS. As long as possible
- Picking up a drink activates your chest surprisingly, and it hurts too.
• SHOWER PUFF ON A STICK
- So you can wash away all the backne you got from using the same compression bra for multiple days. :(
• NIPPLE STICKERS
- They’ll be hard and you might rub or accidentally touch it with something and it hurtsss
• ADVIL.
- You’ll have to switch to these after a few days, so make sure you have enough. (600mg 3x/day)
• NETFLIX or HULU subscription.
- So you don’t die of boredom.
• MARIJUANA*. (Ooo, controversial.)
- It helped me pass time,
- Lighten my spirits,
- Ignore the pain, and
- Helped me sleep!

—Tips & Side Effects To Expect —
- Your bloating will go down as soon as you stop Percocet and antibiotics.
- Being emotional is normal, don’t feel bad if people get frustrated with that. It’ll be over in a week.
- Your implants will look crazy huge, swelling will reduce in due time, trust me.
- Don’t be impatient. Doing so is only detrimental to yourself. Be smart and play it safe.
- GET UP and walk every day. BUT, don’t overexert yourself. It will help your mind and body feel better.
- When you get cleared for it, search up “chest stretches” and start doing so LIGHTLY.
- Don’t close doors because turning the knobs is really hard.
- You won’t get CC less than a week post op.
- Boob cramps feel weird, try rotating your arms and shoulders.
- KEEP YOUR SHOULDERS BACK. It hurts but that’s the only way your skin will stretch to make more room for your implants. And you’ll have to do it eventually.
- Follow your PS’s post op protocol. S/He knows what’s best for you, but if you have a question. ASK!!
- Do not be lazy with your required breast massages, your PS is making you do it because they’ve tested it and seen results.
- I didn’t have sex with my husband for a full week following my BA. Not only was I not feeling well, it’s also not recommended. When you do get back in to it, be on your back hehe.

** If any of my tips contradict any of your PS’s post op protocol, obviously, don’t do it and ask first! Do NOT put your results at risk. These tips helped me and are working for me. I emailed my PS office over a dozen times to ensure everything I’m doing is okay if they didn’t already clear it.

Amazing Surgeon, Amazing Team! The very skilled Dr. Vistnes, and the anesthesiologists have absolutely amazing bedside manner! Dr. Vistnes, his office staff, and his team of anesthesiologists, all made this whole experience very FUN and stress-free. Everyone was very personable, nurturing and jolly (lol) while instilling crucial information. Geri gave me a call last night and after the surgery to check up on me. While Kat has been emailing me back and forth, answering dozens of questions and addressing any concerns I have regarding my BA. During the surgery, they texted my husband real time updates and let him know I was doing great and ready to go! I felt as if I was their friend or relative, the way they treated me. They really calmed my nerves before surgery.
