I am a mother of five beautiful children. My oldest will be 18 in March and my youngest will be 1 in March. I gained between 35-45 pounds with each pregnancy. I am down to 173 pounds now but I am only 5'1. I've tried excercising and dieting, but can't get the results I want. I had 3 c-sections and 2 vaginal births. My body is screaming "HELP"!! I have the very droopy breasts and I am wearing a size 38DD bra and it's probably the wrong size. My stomach hangs over my underwears. It's just awful. I have been wanting a mommy makeover for years now. But I was always scared. I have now decided that it is time. My surgery is scheduled for May and I am so excited. I joined a gym to prepare myself for the surgery. I want to make sure I am strong and healthy for the big day. Finding this site has given me the push I need. I am not sure right now if my insurance will cover the breast reduction. I am still waiting to hear from them. So My cost might go up, but hopefully not.

Congratulations on your decision. That's very exciting! Good for you for going to the gym. The stronger you can be and the more weight you can lose, the better your results and easier recovery will be. Go girl, go!

Thanks, Angiemcc. Sometimes I get lazy and don't want to go to the gym, but when I think about all the "after" pictures I've seen here on this site, I jump out of bed at 5:30 AM and go to the gym before I go to work.

Only 4 more weeks left. I've been hitting the gym really hard...I've lost 13 pounds and now I am down to 162....hoping to lose 12 more pounds before the big day. really nervous about the anesthesia.

I have been going to the gym and I am down to 167 pounds now. I want to be 150 for the surgery, but I don't think I can make it there. I only have 5 1/2 weeks before my big day. I will give it my best shot though.......

starting to get negative people in my ear asking me why I just can't workout and lose the weight. they don't seem to understand that the skin and fat on my belly isn't going anywhere and that the more fat I lose in my breasts the more they will sag and put pressure on my neck and back...... so annoying!!!!!!!! MYOB is what I want to say to them.

Ugh, why do people have to get in each other's business like that!? You have to do what's right for you. So many people don't understand about weight loss and sagging skin.
