I am 50 years old and have tried botox 4 times. Twice for crows feet and twice for my forehead. The first time I did my forehead the doctor injected very high closer to my hairline. It only softened my wrinkles which is exactly what I wanted. I do have the 11's but they never bothered me so I never had botox added there. This last time I did botox I asked for the exact way my doctor did it before. At the time I felt like it may have been injected lower but shrugged it off second guessing myself. He also added a little to the 11's. He a fabulous doctor and I have never had an issue or problem (I have had fillers as well in his office). Over the next 10 days as the botox fully set in I was mortified as my eyebrows had drooped giving me a very hooded eye effect. I also felt like my previous soft eyes and look had turned to a harsh angry/tired appearance. I also had a very heavy feeling behind the eyes and lower forehead and felt sleepy from it all the time. I had to lift my eyebrow arch area in order to put on my eyeshadow and my lower shadow kept sticking to the hood of my eye. I never post reviews on here and my purpose is not to say anything negative about my doctor. As a matter of fact, I see plenty of women that actually want and request this type of look but for me, I felt it took away my softness and actually aged me quite a bit. My purpose in writing this is to give you hope as I could not find much hope about this topic when I searched on here. It is now 4 weeks later and I have regained a little bit of movement in my forehead which has diminished the harsh appearance a bit. My eyeshadow also goes on better but still have to move the hood of my eye in order to apply it but just not as much. I wanted to share my experience so that people that are panicking and just had botox set in with a harsh angry eyebrow droop...dont panic. In a few weeks, it will soften and you will start to get your face back. I'm sure in another month it will look perfect and I'll actually like it. Live and learn....I do know that I will never allow the injections anywhere other than super high on my forehead even if it only softens my wrinkles. I think that look is much more natural than the stiff no movement look. I'll update again in a few weeks.

I love my doctor so I don't want to disclose any of that information I just want to give everyone a glimpse into my experience so that those who have had similar experiences will have hope.
