4th Surgery due to Capsular Contracture
Ok So....next update...so 8 months later the left breast is encapsulated again. At this point I have told them to take out the implants and just do a lift. Which this time will cost me $2500. I will again post before and after pics. Very concerned about the lollipop scarring :( Wish I would have just left them alone...lesson learned..
1 week post surgery 3
So 3rd surgery for capsulotomy was done on August 28th. So far everything seems to look good and recovering fine. They are even at least . I now know I am allergic to betadine though because I have broken out with a rash everywhere betadine was applied. Besides that the capsulotomy looks to have released the capsule and the left breast is still swollen so not sure how it will look once swelling goes down. I hope it does not end up saggy.
3rd Surgery 1 year later
So today I am going in for an open capsulectomy with Dr Hamm at Strax again. My left breast is as hard as a softball and was diagnosed again with capsular contracture. After paying an extra $1650 for the surgery and IV Therapy they are confident that it wont come back again. Here is pre-op image and I will post again after pics.
