“Improved overhead peripheral vision”
Eyelid Surgery: Worth it
Pain: Uncomfortable
The skin above my eyes due to the type of eyes I had began sagging creating a dark line in which I could not see the ceiling, or high part of a wall when looking straight ahead. I am 22 months post op and think the surgery was an excellent choise as now I can see the ceiling when looking straight ahead without raising my eyebrows.
As far as for discomfort yes, there was some discomfort during the healing process. Also I had severe bruising for 2 to 3 weeks. So do not plan the surgery if you have an event to go to for at least one month. If I use a magnifying mirror I can see some faint scars but I am sure no one else can see them. Since I opted for the procedure for more of a corrective procedure I did not have hopes that the outcome would make me look like a new person, instead I have a more awake look and hopefully years of unobsured vision.

Glad to hear you are happy with the results. Did you only have the uppers done? How long did it take for the scar to not be so noticable (as compared to the 3 weeks of bruising).

I live not far from Cranberry (Youngstown, OH) and am looking for a good surgeon to do this. Can you give the surgeons name or contact info or maybe we can email each other if you want to be more discreet. Thank you...Please let me know :)

What type of eyes are you having previously? I have single eyelid, puffy and sagging sideway. I have the same issue with you where i see a dark line cover my top vision when I look straight. If I need to look upward, I need to raise my eyebrow to open my eyes big enough to see the upper part of the vision, without moving my head upward. Do you feel easier to open your eyes after Upper Bleph?
