I have always had hollow eye cheeks and then...

I have always had hollow eye cheeks and then really high cheek bones, making the hollow area look even deeper. Having heard I "look tired" since I was 10 years old, I decided a fat transfer would be a good solution for  me. Post surgery, my face was swollen like a melon, but I was optimistic. After about 4 weeks, the major swelling was down, but my eyes looked a bit 'off'.  6 months later...the fat under my eyes that the doctor had kept telling me was normal swelling, never did go away. That was because it was hard fat lumps I could pinch between my fingers.  AND it was uneven lumps.  So I went from looking 'hollow' to looking like those people with the pouches under their eyes.  Ugh! I went back to the clinic and they finally agreed that the fat needed to be removed, but that only way to do that was to perform a blepharoplasty.  This would require more $$$ and no guarantees of success. I am only 4 days post op on that, so I can't comment.  But I CAN'T believe I went from something I thought was going to be so minor to a blepharoplasty to correct this darn thing.  I just wish I had NEVER touched anything and left my poor delicate eyes alone. I would pay twice as much just to get back to where I was before any of this.
