Great recovery only a few weeks post op

It's only been a few weeks since my removal and boy am I enjoying all the new perks. I can once again fit into my cute old and new tops. Also, not only do I feel happy, I feel healthier. I began to research a bunch of facts and it turns out, breast augmentation has caused many women out there sickness. I have a few friends who have some of these symptoms and it just feels good to be free! If you are considering removal, you will feel so good about yourself. It can be a scary decision to make, but it's so worth it!!

Pre explant photos/Post opt pictures to follow soon

These are photos prior to my explant. Looking back, I think to myself, what could I have spent those valuable dollars on other than these enormous boobs

Today marks my two weeks post surgery explant...

Today marks my two weeks post surgery explant removal. This forum was super helpful & supportive, so I decided to post my pics and offer my support and experiences with implants as well. With two sets of implants since the age of 21, I finally came to terms with wanting them removed. My first set were too large once they settled in and I developed a right capsular contracture a few years after surgery. I was left with one tight high breast and one large droopy heavy breast. A few years later, I finally opted to reduce my original implants with a smaller size and lift. The results were perfect , no scarring and not too overbearing in size. A few years later, I started to develop another contracture, but now on the opposite breast. My breasts began to grow so large and heavy, creating a droopy look and just too much. All I wanted was to be normal again. I desired wearing normal tops and doing everyday activities like running without back pain. If it wasn't for this site and forum, I would probably still be here writing with my heavy boobs killing my back as we speak. I trusted my new doctor to the fullest, but just like I mentioned to him all the photo I found online were of BA and not explants, until I found real self.
I'm now currently two weeks post opt and loving it. I had most light pain the day of surgery and a bit more day 2. I was mainly sore while trying to roll out of bed, but other than that I was back to light duty work on day 3. I already see results and feel so much lighter on my feet. I can't wait to get back to my normal workout and running regimens and enjoying my new natural breast again! I will post post op photos shortly.

Dr. Neavin is a very skilled, caring and great doctor. He is very honest with his patients and I feel he only steers you in the right direction vs some doctors that just want to upsell you on more procedures that may not be right for you.
