Hi ladies !

I have been researching Rhinoplasty for several months, and wanted to share my consultation experiences. I have a thick skinned wide alar based nose, reduction of the nostrils is most important to me. As well as a refined tip, better profile, and minor work on the bridge.

Here are my reviews on my consultations so far.

Dr. Jason Hamilton was recomennded to me by a friend who had her septoplasty done by him. His personality is great. He immediately makes you feel comfortable, and was very very patient during my consult. I was very nervous upon meeting him, talking about something I have been so insecure about for years was a groundbreaking experience for me, but he was very attentive and made it easy.

Pro's About Dr. Hamitlon
- He understands the ethnic nose, and has a great history of maintaining the integrity of one's race in his surgeries.
- Comfort level- this to me is very important. I have had 2 consultations with Dr. Hamilton, neither of which did I feel rushed, or that I was inconveniencing him. He answered my questions thoroughly, and I always left with a better understanding.

My only doubt with Dr Hamilton is that his results can be very conservative. Which Is great, but I absolutely want to leave my surgery with a smaller nose. I don't want to appear as if I have had work done, but I DO want significant changes to the overall width of my nose.

I also would like to see more before and after pictures of clients he has done, especially with a nose shape like mine.

Dr. Hazani
I met with Dr. Hazani today , after reviewing one of his recent patient's work that I thought looked really good.

To be honest, his office was a bit of a turn off to me. I know decorum isn't something that directly affects your surgery but, I was expecting a better environment. I pay attention to small details, and in comparisons to Dr. Hamilton's it was not as professional. I was asked very loudly what procedure I was in for, and his office coordinator also had a very open conversation with a woman who was coming in for a follow up on her BBL. I personally felt this was unprofessional, and his office just seems bit "dated." If the doctor's office, reflects himself I would say it needs some upkeep!

The actual consultation actually went fairly well. What I liked about Dr. Hazani is that his patients have more "obvious results" yet it still seems conservative. He had many of the same concerns that Dr. Hamilton spoke of . ( Inverted Columella, Nostril Flare, etc) He also said he doesn't do magic, and the most important thing a patient should have is realistic expectations.

His office coordinator came in to tell him he had another patient, during his consult and I had to wait about 30 minutes before I saw him, these are minor details that reflect more on the staff rather than his ability to give me my desired nose.

COST:
Dr Hamilton- $8,650 ( full payment required)
Dr. Hazani - $6,500 ( full payment required accepts credit care)

Overall I am still weighing my options. Personality and staff definitely makes Dr. Hamilton my favorite thus far, but my concern is getting a nose job and afterwards feeling like I didn't get anything done or the results I wanted.

That's all I have for now. Just wanted to share my experience thus far. :)
