1 week post op! Hardest day yet

I don't feel like I'm decreasing in swelling much but I hadn't really expected to. What I had not expected was to have pain increasing. My breast pain hasn't changed at all but my tummy is starting to flare up and I have not been active. I bought some different compression garments to try to find something that fits tighter. Has anyone found one that they like? Emotionally I am having a hard time being isolated, not able to play with my kids or leave the house yet. Hopefully this weekend I can get out for a short excursion.

PO Day 5

Today is PO Day 5 and probably the worst for swelling. I'm very itchy along all my sutures and have taken benadryl when it gets too bad. My PS is very happy with my progress and said swelling should start to turn around. I got the ok to take my garment off and wash it and tried on a couple bikini bottoms while I had the opportunity! My breasts are still too swollen from my reduction to try on the tops. I'm so excited to see what this next few days of healing bring. He thinks my drains will come out on Monday.

Day 3 post op pictures!

I'm beyond thrilled with my belly button and low, even incision. Every day is getting easier and easier and I'm so glad I did this! Dr. Min definitely listened to my concerns and spent the time needed to get my ideal bb. I feel very fortunate to have found him.

Picking my plastic surgeon for my breast lift and tummy tuck was a scary choice. I kept second guessing myself on doing this major of a surgery out of fear of having my tummy incision jagged or a botched belly button. When I met Dr. Min he was incredibly kind, caring, honest and most importantly he listened to me. It was the first consult I had with a PS where I felt like I was involved in the conversation about my body! After meeting with him, my friend that had come with me to my consult agreed with me that he was the perfect choice and I cancelled my remaining consults. Susan was amazing going over details and has been very kind and accommodating every time I call with a question. His nurses were just as great and caring and put me at ease. I was impressed with how much everyone seemed genuinely excited for me and happy to help with any questions. It struck me that they must be pretty happy doing their jobs to always be this happy at work. The support and enthusiasm I received before my surgery did not stop after my surgery either! I read horror stories about patients post op care lacking so this had been a fear for me. I have been in twice post op and both times received the same great level of care and support. My results look great less than a week post op. I can't wait to watch the progression as things heal. When I first saw the results 3 days post op I was thrilled that Dr. Min had remembered the little things that meant a lot to me. Dr. Min has a great skill, intuition and talent for plastic surgery and takes pride in his work. For any future needs he will definitely be the first call I make.
