Almost Two weeks Post op and could not be happier

Surgery was 6/23 at 7:15am. I wasn't really that nervous until I left my sister and they laid me down on the table and started the IV's. Dr Rand held my hand while they put in my IV and could tell I was relaxed. The entire staff was amazing! Afterwards, the pain was tolerable and my sister was on top of my meds which helped! The worst part of recovery for me was bathroom issues. I did everything they told me. Murelax and stool softners but neither did any good. That part was miserable.
Other than that the pain was present but again tolerable. On day day 3 I actually went shopping for a couple hours and did fine! I am feeling better everyday and I am so happy I decided to do it!

Last upper body workout for a while....

My pre-op appointment last week went really good. I had a good friend come with me to make sure she thought the size was good. We ended up going up to 375cc MP rather than 325. After reading so many reviews I was worried I wasn't going big enough. Dr Rand was so amazing and patient with me. I cant say enough good things about him!
I had my last upper body workout today and the whole time I kept thinking...next time I do this I will look like a woman again. My sister saw me in a sports bra and tank top and I think she was surprised at how small I am now. For years both of my sisters would tease me about how I got all the boobs in the family and they were shorted. Now I am the one who is the flat chested one.
I told my dad last weekend and he is very supportive and actually insists on being there at the hospital. Like I said we have always been very close, and became even closer in the last 3 years. My daughter's father passed away when I was pregnant and my dad has been there for me in so many ways so him being supportive wasn't a surprise.
My last day of work is tomorrow and its starting to hit me that this is real. Im really doing this. I am so excited to feel good in my skin again!

Pre-op Appointment today......

My Pre-op appointment is this afternoon and I am so nervous and excited! Nervous because this means I am two weeks away, but also excited that its two weeks away. I am so looking forward to being able to wear my bras and actually fill them again. Right now I have some from pre-baby and I don't even come close.
I need to work up the courage to tell my dad this weekend. I have always been a big daddy's girl and we have always been close. I know he will be supportive- but how do you tell your dad your getting new boobs!!

Provider Review

Dr. Rand

Dr Rand was the third consultation and I knew by the end of the appointment he was the one! He was referred to me by a friend which also helped but the way he helped me in deciding what size and look I was after was what made the difference. Not to mention how thorough he was in explaining the entire process. His staff was very friendly and helpful as well.
