So where do I began...lol. The short story: I want a bigger azz!! From the front I have a Cola shape (when I'm in my best shape) which is so misleading for what lies behind me...absolutely nothing!!! This brings me at the mercy of my fairy God-Surgeon Dr. Salzhauer to transfer my flat ass into a pumpkin. lol! I will be getting 5 areas of liposuction: arms, upper & lower abs, and upper and lower back....although I think I'm going to switch my arms with my thighs or hips. After my weight loss, my arms have gotten much smaller.
After visiting Dr. Markmann in Baltimore and Dr. Bauer in Atlanta, I have made my finally decision on Bal Harbour Plastic Surgery. I was very close to switching over to Dr. Salama, (only because I have seen my reviews for him this year) but at the end of the day, I had to go with who I entrusted with my life. Last year I was scheduled to have the procedure done in November, however I was laid from my job in August. I wasnt able to get back on track for payments until April. His office was very understanding about it. Although my proposed date is September 24th, I haven't officially placed myself on the surgery calendar because I wanted to make sure that everything was paid off first (just in case history repeats itself).
I'm so excited but nervous at the same time. For the past 2 weeks Ive been back in the gym working out EVERYDAY, and I have drastically changed my eating habits. I want to make sure that I am as healthly as possible before going under.
Last year when I went to the office in May I weighed 168 at 5'2". As of yesterday I am 154.2. I want to get down to 145 before my surgery. I see that most people lose between 5-8 pounds from the surgery which would put me near my ideal weight of 135ish.
I'm still need help in finding a hotel and getting my pre-and post out food and medical necessities. About to post some Pre-op Pics shortly.
Check out this video he posted on YouTube! They...

As far as the fasting, Dr. Salzhauer gave a long list of foods, herbs, and medications to avoid 2 weeks prior to surgery because they affect blood clotting. Some of the main things that I love to eat are prohibited. For example:
Apples, grapes, tomatoes, strawberries, almonds, pickles, ginger (there goes my craving for sushi), garlic, cherries, cucumbers, onions, papaya....and the list goes on!!!!!! I was at the grocery store earlier pissed because everything that I picked up would require one of those ingredients to go with it. (For ex. no spaghetti or tacos because spaghetti sauce and salsa has tomatoes). No hoagies because I can't add onions, tomatoes, or pickles. No frozen pizza because of garlic and tomatoes....you get my point and frustration? Looks like I'll be eating yogurt, fish, cereal, and leafy veggies until further notice. The 15th will be my last day to enjoy the crummy stuff, so CHEERS to my last glass of wine and slice of pizza, until I make it back from the other side.
Here are the items that my doctor told us to avoid...

Please pray for my BBL sister MsCheshireKitty. Fortunately for her she left from the West Coast so she should be on schedule as usual. She has been the greatest surgery buddy. I've been bugging her over the past few weeks with tons of questions and she has definitely helped with easing some of my anxieties. Sending prayers your way girl!!!
I'll keep you all updated as Sandy and I duke it out!!
Even though Sandy has pretty much run her course...

Hey Guys, I actually ended up having my surgery on...

The preparation for surgery:
As soon as I arrived I had to give a urine sample for a pregnancy test. I was immediately given consent forms to sign, surgery knee-hi stockings, and little thick socks to put on over the stockings. I met with Dr. Salzhauer and showed him my powerpoint presentation of Ideal volume wish pics and not-so-ideal pics. He does enjoy wish pics. They didn't waste anytime to get me into the surgery room. About 30 minutes after I arrived I was laid out on the operating table with the IV hooked up. I slowly drifted off and woke up in pain sitting on the boppy. The anesthesiologist was very nice and comforting...his little nurse's assistant-not so much. She wasn't rude, but I felt like even though I was nervous no one really seemed too compassionate about that. I just wanted someone to be more comforting with holding my hand until I fell asleep.
My first night was hell. Pain, bleeding, and more pain. I laid out a shower curtain on the bed to avoid getting blood on the comforter and sheets. My mom has been an absolute trooper in helping me remember to take my meds and supplements on time. Getting up to go to the bathroom has been a challenge. I've been hunched over walking like a little old lady.
My surgery sister MsCheshireKitty sent me pics of her results and Salzhauer did his this!!! I'm going to try to post some pics tonight or tomorrow. I didn't really bruise too much...just a little under my breasts and sides. My stomach is still extremely swollen. Thanks for all of the prayers and support. I'll continue to update you on my journey.
Sorry to have fallen off of the face of the earth....

I'll try to take some better pics but I wasn't able to get a good angle with the stupid flash. If you guys have any questions about the process or going through Dr. Salzhauer...shoot away! I think he is a phenomenal PS!
Oh yeah...almost forgot..the CC's. He said that I got 3000 altogether. 200 in each hip and the rest was distributed evenly in the cheeks.
So Wednesday will be Week 3!! Seems like just...

I am dying to get back into the gym. I haven't been wearing my garment as much, but I wear my squeem religiously and my Booty-Out Panties that I purchased from Vedette. My tummy dropped from 31 inches to 29 inches in 1 week. It's still sore and lumpy around the belly area so I'm hoping that it will drop at least 1 more inch once the swelling goes down.
Well, that's about all that I have for now ladies...
HAPPY TURKE Y DAY!!!
