Hello ladies, I had posted a review however I didn't know how to update it to the tummy tuck blog instead of the bbl blog so I decided to do a new one. I am 26 yr old and a mother of two and had been debating for the past 3 years to do a tummy tuck. I then decided last year to finally go through with it. I have to tell you this has been a hell of a roller coaster. After having several consultations I decided to go with Dr. Salzhauer in Bal Harbour. My surgery was on the 19 and I have to say that t has been a tough and rough week. As a lot of you ladies may know having two kids and trying to fit a surgery in your schedule is hard especially when you are a young mother. To tell you a little about my surgery I arrived at 12 at the office and right there and the. I started signing papers and they have me my gown, compression socks, and my little funky socks. After being there nervous Dr. Salzhauer arrived and started marking me up and I told him that I wasn't able to afford the bbl so I asked him if he could give me a more defined butt with his liposuction techniques he smiled and said you got it" then the scary part is when the anesthesiologist walks in and you start thinking that you have to basically sign your life away to this guy which the anesthesiology part of the surgery was my scariest fear. I then told him that I was in his hands and he made me feel really comfortable all I remember is him telling me let's go and laying on a table and him asking me where I got my boobs done lol he kept asking me questions about where and what made me chose getting my implants through my belly button anyways all I remember is him giving me an IV and I looked at the time and I was knocked out that was at 1 50 something and when I woke up all I felt was someone tugging on my stomach telling me "this is going to hurt sweety it's just the compression garment we are putting on you are out of surgery and you are fine. I then started shivering and was really cold and had the nurse give me some warm blankets and knocked out. I remember her sitting by my bed and telling me drink this Gatorade and you will feel better and asking me if I needed more pain medicine I kept saying yes more lol. All of his staff have been very supportive and nice but I have to say his nurses after surgery and post op are the best. Anyways after a couple of hours she said you are ready to go. She wheeled me into the car and gave me a kiss on the cheek and remember her telling my driver make sure you call me if anything. The first couple of days were not bad the tummy tuck to me does not hurt other than coughing and when I laugh however the liposuction part of this has freaking sucked!!!! And my belly button looks like someone did damage to it I know it's going to look different but damn!!! He took nine pounds off me and I feel good but the liposuction has been Killing me I've been trying to massage the hard spots in my lower back and I have literally bulges in my hips of how swollen I am. I want to hear from you ladies what have you guys done for those hot hard swollen areas from liposuction they so not let me sleep at night since I've been trying to be good and weary girdle even to sleep at night it starts burning like if I have a fever down there it's the most weirdest feeling ever and painful :(. I also want to know how long did you ladies stay bloated for?? My stomach went down and of course I don't see no stretch marks or anything but I look like I'm pregnant!!! All the comments and feedback is great appreciated and thanks for letting me vent. I wish you ladies a speedy recovery to the ones that have had their surgery and good luck to all the ones that have upcoming surgeries. I do have to add I do think it was worth it! Just a lot of damn pain! lol , xo

I saw improvement in the swelling after day 11. I've been steadily progressing but have a long way to go. I sleep with my garment per Dr...today is day 16 for me and felt more normal /less sore..give it a few more days. You had more lipo done and that's why you might take a. Little longer.. But you're gonna look good, watch.. May you have a steady, happy healing!! :)

If you feel like its a fever down there, you definitely want to call your PS, you might need to go on some antibiotics. Other than that, you look nice and flat! I have "rocks" where my PS did the lipo of my inner thighs. I alternate 20 on/20 off between ice packs and wet heating pad. It helps a lot. make sure you keep your garment on, it will help with the draining and it also helps you feel secure when you stand. Have you reduced your sodium intake? it makes you swell and btw, you dont look pregnant, you look really flat!!! hang in there!

Hey thank you for the comment! I did but he told me I needed to massage a little bit and that is normal. I tried the hot and cold thing and it actually worked but I did it with the shower head and I felt much better after. I am also wearing my compression garment more often even though at night I can't stand it. At night I wear the binder that they have me because the faja is just too damn tight to sleep with it lol. I will thank you!! You look great as well!

I'm 1 day post op and starting to feel ok. My back is hurting from walking hunched over all the time and I have obvious pain from time to time but much better than yesterday.... Hopefully each day will get easier... I haven't seen my scars or belly button yet! Happy healing to you! X

So am I!!! It will get better I promise!!! I haven't seen my scar neither because it's still covered with surgical tape but I can care less!! It's bow the panty line and I don't have stretch marks anymore lol. It will just walk and and walk some more and make sure you wear your compression garment! Thank you keep in touch and hope you feel better!! :)

Hi, Drea! I'm considering Dr. Salzhauer as well. So far I absolutely love what I know and what I've seen. How many cm below your bellybutton is your incision and is the actual incision straight and symmetrical? That is one of my biggest concerns going into this. Thanks so much for putting this review up.

You should! He's a great doctor and I loved what he did just it will take a couple of more weeks for me to see the final results. As far as the centimeters my scar is from my belly button? I have no idea lol it's low I would have to measure it and from what I see is somewhat straight but I can't really tell from the pictures I take I also wanted him to remove a tattoo I didn't want so on the left side it's somewhat lower than the right I think but I didn't care much for that as long as I can cover it with my panties lol and the Problem is I still have the surgical tape he put on the day of surgery and on my post up visit he told me not to remove it until my one month follow up. It's low enough to hide from my panty line though. I will try to take more pics so you can see the scar a little bit closer.

Okay, thanks so much. I am definitely going to be following your recovery...and stalking your page for new pics...LOL! You know how it is, I'm sure. ;)
