How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

2 weeks and 2 days since surgery

So I thought I would show up you all some more recent photos

I rarely get zingers, my stitches are dissolving and overall I feel completely fine. I can't jump up am down or give full hugs, but i feel really good, an I have zero back pain. Which is wonderful!

Let's talk insurance

I have Aetna insurance, thanks to my mom, and Obama care. So I was completely covered. If you have Aetna or similar insurance getting covered should be a breeze, all you need is a form from a doctor, stating you had chronic back pain, an have been getting treated for it, for more than 3 months.

Now Ive had terrible neck, back shoulder pain since I was 14, so I was a perfect candidate. But never really wanted to just pop pills for it( big drug company's to more harm then good) in my opinion. So I just delt with it, by exercising an not straining myself to much.

Anyway, if you are wondering if your insurance covers, just call an ask, you may be surprised. I didn't think mine covered, until I called, 1 whole year later! SMH

I'll post some before pics to give you an idea of what I was working with. Keep in mind I'm 5'3 and 157

So... I had this awesome reduction done an wanted to share my story.
I went in on a Feb.21 2014 and by Thurs. 27th I was feeling like me again, and was completely off of my pain Meds. The surgery went well, and overall I think I hurt myself more by reading to many reviews. Lol which is funny because I'm writing one. But I wanted to share my story to encourage young women who are thinking about having this surgery. Yes it hurts afterwards, but it is totally worth every ounce of pain.
