4 months in!
Went for my last appointment of the year today! Bit of a change to the set up of my elastics. I swear these things will be the death of me! They hurt a lot but they are making such a huge difference! It feels like my teeth are changing almost daily. But. I will be so happy to stop wearing them! Otherwise all is going well, very used to my braces now!
3 months in!
I have been super slack with my updates but today is day 90 with braces and all is going well! After about a month/6 weeks we added in elastics. These have been a pain but the my have made so much more movement! I love how my teeth are looking and can deal with the elastics as sore as they can be sometimes. Check out day 1 vs day 90 photo. Fast braces really are fast!
2.5 weeks into treatment
I have just been in for a 2 week check. My dentist was happy with how I am going, nice and clean etc.
My rubber bands on the brackets were changed which is great as I ate too much pumpkin soup in the first week and stained them! They look fresh and nice now. Feel a bit tighter too!
I am really enjoying my treatment so far (some days I hate my braces but not really!) and am loving the benefits of the hygiene routine. I have never been much of a flosser but am now flossing daily and my teeth feel awesome for it!
Back in a month for wire change etc. Will update again before then ????
