$3,000
So it's Thursday night and I had the procedure Monday morning. It's getting better and better. Still sore a little, but not enough to interrupt my life. One thing that was kinda strange was the swelling. Although it has gone down about 80%, it kinda dropped from my armpit to the side of my ribs along my chest. For a man, this is not a flattering look. That has even gone down a lot from this morning. I expect the swelling to be completely gone by Monday. I still do not have all the feeling back but that's fine with me. I also didn't experience any of the b.o. Issues some of the other reviews had, but that was never an issue for me to begin with. I was just a profuse sweater. Which leads us to the most important part of this update; I have not felt a single drop of moisture since Monday morning. None. I haven't exercised yet, gonna try to hold off until Sunday, I'll update again then. So far so good.

I have suffered with HH for since I was 15, for the last 14 years. I extensively researched Miradry before calling for the consult. Miradry was only offered at two locations in Atlanta and I chose the practice that was located inside the perimeter. My friend goes to this practice for her leg veins and was very pleased so I requested the same PA, Katherine Everything went really well in the consult so I scheduled the appointment. She was very nice and thorough too.
Yesterday was the day. The appointment started right on time. They measure your armpits and use a template they stick to your armpit as a guide. Then two nurses, who were super nice and cute, began the numbing process. This is definitely the worse part, but the template even shows them where to stick you! I put on my headphones and in less than two songs it was over. Not as bad as I thought. Then we started the actual procedure which I felt absolutely nothing with under one arm. However towards the end of the second arm I began to regain feeling and it did hurt. Quite a bit. But she quickly deadened the area and it was fine. I was normal until the numbness wore off. The pain isn't sharp or unbearable but it is mild and enduring. You need to freeze 4 bottles of water the night before and ice, ice, ice. When the current bottles thaw halfway switch them out. I noticed the swelling about 10 hrs later. When I woke up this morning they were quite swollen, like water bags in your armpits. Weird. The pain is gone, still sore though. So far I've sweat zero but I'm also not moving a lot. Still icing too, just because it feels good ( and I have balloon pits.
Oh and we started on level 2. This is expensive it better be worth it. Not sure yet. Will update.

When you say that the swelling felt like water bags, was it swishy feeling, or do you just mean it was so big & swollen up?
Glad to hear the pain is gone, hopefully the soreness has completely subsided by now too(??).
Thanks for explaining that. Since you mentioned your swelling has moved down to your chest/ribs I thought I'd let you know that others have talked about the swelling traveling down to their stomachs. Doesn't the traveling swelling seem like such a strange thing?!!
Here are some mentions of it if you want to reach out to the other community members:
lightbreeze was kind enough to post pictures to show us what the swelling looked like in his review: Wait and See, But Good So Far - Leesburg, VA

Keep us posted how that swelling is doing - yay for dryness!!
