10 days post-op

So hard to believe that today marks my 10th day of having the girls. They are still pretty firm but definitely softening more and more each day. I'm sure they still have some dropping to do but I have to say I'm pretty darn happy considering they're not even two weeks old yet. :) :)

Sleeping is still a bit of a challenge. Best sleep position I have found is on my side, lower arm streched straight out on bed under pillow and my body pillow kind of pulled into my chest, kind of hugged in between my breasts. It seems to take a good bit of pressure off the breasts and is virtually painless. Only problem is my hand eventually falls asleep being under me and that always wakes me. But then I just get into same position on my other side. It works for now. :)

Last night I had a little 1 woman fashion show in my bathroom and must admit, I totally cheesed out for a few hours. Every bra, every bathing suit....was like a brand new bra and bathing suit and this 35 year old woman was doing a goofy happy dance with each and every "new" thing I put on, lol. Amazing how drastic a difference breasts really do make. This is by far one of the best things I have ever done for myself. I LOVE them so much. :) I can't wait for the husband to get home and see, lol.

I hope all you lovely ladies are having wonderful weekends!! **HUGS**

First Week

I had to do this simply for my own side by side comparison. I knew the tatas had gone through some serious changes this first week alone but seeing this has really put it into perspective. When I think back to just 5 or so days ago and how bummed I was .... It just seems silly now. I'm gonna share it here in hopes that even one other woman on her journey avoid a day like that...because it truly was unnecessary. But you ladies weren't joking, this week has been one heck of an emotional roller coaster. I'm happy to say I am on quite a lovely happy high at the moment tho. Thank you Dr. K...you are an artist. :)

1 week Post-Op : BEYOND Happy Day!! :)

Finally had my first post-op and was able to FINALLY get the remaining tape off and see my incisions. And wow wow wow I seriously couldn't be happier!! :) Dr. K is amazing and did such a wonderful job. My incisions are literally about an inch! That's it! Not only that but they are PERFECTLY placed. I mean PERFECT. I cannot even begin to comprehend how in the world they got these 397/421cc implants in through those teensy holes. And honestly, I don't want to know, lol.

I am on cloud nine and loving my new girls more and more each day. They still have some dropping and fluffing to do but they are coming along awesomely. HAPPY GIRL.

From the moment I met Dr. Killingsworth, I KNEW he was the doc that I wanted to do my procedure. He came highly recommended by two friends/former patients that are hospital workers , which by itself spoke VOLUMES to me also being in the medical field. He is amazingly kind, listens to all of your concerns and never once made me feel like I was asking too many ridiculous questions. I even called his office after the consult with a few more questions and NEVER ONCE has he OR his staff ever made me feel like I was a burden. On one particular instance, the doctor even called me back HIMSELF to answer the question I had about capsular contracture! His credentials are outstanding ( and no doubt important) but it was his candid honesty and comforting bedside manner that won me over. Of course his outstanding before/after photos didn't hurt. ;-) He has never made me feel he was in a rush and he seems to truly have a passion for what he does, you can tell he takes great pride in helping women feel better about themselves.
