5 weeks post op!

They get better and better every day! I forgot to update last week. I started doing the elliptical machine at the gym and some light arm and ab work (no chest work). I didn't ask my ps if I could do all of this though. I had no pain working out. I have another post op appointment tomorrow and hopefully get cleared for everything. My scars are healing well. I really suggest scar cream. I've been able to sleep even more on my side which is wonderful! I've been having some weird random pains but they are very rare. I guess it's the nerves. I also was having a problem with my nipples being hard all the time after surgery. This problem has gone away finally! I also can finally go swimming! I had to wait until there were no scabs. I attempted to swim laps on Tuesday. It was a very different feeling that's hard to explain but it wasn't too painful. Just kinda felt like pressure. I mostly just ended up kicking with a kickboard but it was a good first attempt. I'm interested to hear what my ps says tomorrow!

3 weeks post op!

I took my steri-strips off on Saturday morning (16 days post op). When I took them off, there was still a stitch so my boyfriend removed it for me! I started on Saturday putting my scar cream (bioCorneum) twice a day (morning and night). The beach was so much fun with my new boobs! I tried my best not to completely submerge them in the ocean as recommended by my PS. I used the scar cream and zinc oxide when I laid in the sun. Each day they drop more and get softer. I still wear a bra all day during the day and at night but more comfortable with wearing things with less support. I can't wait to go VS shopping one day. I still sleep on my back as much as possible but have tried lying on my side. It's not too bad. I also use argon oil twice a day on boobs as well. I've started doing slight leg exercises and still walking or riding the recumbent bike for cardio. Hopefully at my next post op appointment next week I'll be able to do more of a workout. Everything is great!

2 weeks post op!

It's been a week since I've taken any medicine. I'm still sleeping on my back, but kinda getting over it. I'm ready to move to my side. I wake up a little stiff in the morning, but it's not bad. I still sleep in a zip front sports bra even though I'm only required to wear any bra without wire during the day. Sometimes the weight gets a little heavy still. Bloating is completely gone. My chest is getting softer every day and still slightly swollen around my armpits. They are still kinda high but drop a little each day. I've forgotten that I've even got them done. They are even starting to jiggle!! I still have the steri strips on but they can come off any day after 2 weeks which is today. I love trying on clothes especially bathing suits because everything looks so much better! It's amazing how much more proportional they make me look. I'm in love!!! So I need some advice! I'm going to the beach this weekend. My PS said make sure the scars are covered because sun can still go through my bathing suit top. I've heard zinc oxide...any other tips or advice? Also how to tan on my stomach without laying flat! Or any other advice for the beach in general would be appreciated!

I really appreciated how he took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. Even though I had already decided on the 397cc, he took the time to use the Vectra to show me the new implants I had decided I wanted instead at my pre-op appointment. I felt confident that he could get me the results I wanted. I felt comfortable with him and his staff from the beginning.
