3 mos. post op

Went for my apt with PS on July 15. Everything is healing nicely. I need to be more aggressive in massaging my right breast (the smaller) one to decrease scar buildup and help with the wrinkling on the outer side. He said the left breast implant was ruptured and he did the explant and lift on that side first, thus when he came to the right side, there was not enough tissue as on the left, and thus the smaller outcome. I still am pleased with the way I feel and look in dresses and tops. My next apt will be April 14, 2016 for a year eval. He again suggested supplementing the right side possibly with an implant (are you kidding me)??? Or he mentioned fat transfer from my abdomen. At this point in time, I am not going under the knife again.

11 weeks post-op

I have my 3 month appt with PS on July 15. The right breast has "fluffed" out a bit, but still not even in size to the left one. Not sure at this time if I want anymore surgery. I feel he should have evened them out at the time of explant and lift. I can't imagine having someone build a house, and having the structure uneven, thus, I feel the PS should have been more meticulous. The main thing is that I feel great, and my husband doesn't mind the difference in breasts. I appreciate any comments or suggestions from any of you ladies to help me with this situation. Thanks so much!!!

22 Days Post -op

Went for my 3-wk post treatment appointment yesterday. I have healed very well. Was told I can wear regular bras now. I was recommended Mederma to use on the scars and massage my breasts about 2/day for 2-3 minutes. I have a little fluid build-up on the left, but nothing too serious where I needed it drained. PS said the massaging would help. He also told me in the next few months I would more than likely feel a few sharp twinges, or a burning sensations, which is normal as everything inside tries to mend. I am no longer restricted from taking Yoga or any other exercise classes. He said I should take it easy though. My right breast is still a bit smaller than the left, but since there is the fluid build-up, it is hard to see what size it is without the fluid. I have purchased several Warner's bras and love the comfortable feeling. They are not padded, but I am still looking for padded bras I can wear for certain outfits. It is a little hard getting used to being smaller on the top, but the way I feel inside is awesome. No more rashes on my neck from wearing jewelry or spraying perfume on my neck. No aches in my knees or ankles after
spinning classes. PS said the implants were pretty nasty looking when he removed them. No wonder I felt the way I did. There is definitely a relation to health in having those foreign things in your body. My next appt. is mid July. PS said we would see quite a change in the breasts - for the better. All I can say is I had implants placed many years ago because a guy I was with at the time loved big boobs. Had I known what would happen down the road, I would have told him to "hit the road yourself," or told him to get a penis implant!!:)
