I am 19 years old and I had a consultation in...

I am 19 years old and I had a consultation in April of 2012 with a surgeon in my area and he told me that I had tuberous breasts. I knew of the problem since I was young but I always assumed they would grow in and become normal as I finished growing. But I was 18, in college, and they were getting worse and worse. The left one is like squished in and small and the right one is like bulging out- its awful. When I wear a bra you can't tell necessarily but I can't wear low cut clothing or anything revealing because since they are not round whatsoever they don't fit properly in bras. The right one always pours out of the middle side probably because the bra is too small for it but the left one is so small that no other bra would do anything for it.

I was sick of it so I told my mom that it was worse than ever and we went to the doctor. He said that my left breast is one of the most severe forms of tuberous breasts and my right one is milder (even though I always thought the right one was worse looking). SO, to correct the problem we are doing two operations: they are going to put in tissue expanders in both breasts and fill them 3 times, and then go in for a second operation a month or two after that and do the permanent implants and make the areola smaller and see if there needs to be anything else done to fix the problem. I am going to meet with the doctor the day before Thanksgiving to go over any questions I have and I have a ton. (Surgery is set for December).

I figured I could ask my questions here so I have more than one opinion:
1- What will the tissue expanders look and feel like when they are in? I know everyone says they won't look or feel like breasts... so what am I going to walk around with for 2 months?
2- How long do I have to wait before I can get them taken out and have the permanent implants put in?
3- Is this the conventional way to correct tuberous breasts properly? I don't want to have to go back for 100 more follow up surgeries.
4- How long is the recovery process? I go to college 3 hours from home so I want to know what I can/can't do for the weeks after the operation.
5- How long is the actual surgery of putting in the expanders?

Some of these questions might be vain or stupid but I didn't get a chance to ask him any of them when we had the first consultation because I had just begun the process of this and I didn't know yet if I was actually going to go through with it. It's extremely expensive and not covered by insurance so i want to make 100% sure it's the right surgery to fix my problem. Thanks!
