I am now 2 1/2 weeks post op and feeling great. Still sleeping with my post op bra on as I tried sleeping without but I woke up in the middle of the night in a lot of pain in my right breast. During the day I go braless sometimes depending on what I'm wearing but without the support, my breasts do start feeling a little uncomfortable, or I wear my post op bra or a wireless comfortable bra. I will get fitted for an underwire bra 3 months post op. I am pretty much back to normal with house duties, shopping etc but not vacuuming or sweeping yet. I also can't exercise for another 3 or 4 weeks so really excited to start jogging again.

I have posted another pic 2 1/2 weeks post op. Had my stitches taken out 1 week post op and the tape still hasn't come off. I see my PS next week so will see if he says to leave it or if he will take it off himself.

I love love love my new boobies but I have wondered if they have shrunk a little though .... I was told I would have no swelling but I do feel like they are smaller. Maybe I am just getting used to the size?? I sometimes look back on my "before" and "after" pic to compare and realise there is a huge difference. It's funny though and never thought I'd say this but if I was to do this again, I would consider going slightly larger. I was stressing about the whole sizing side of things and was panicking that I had chosen too large a size. But, I am not complaining and this is by far one of the best things I have ever done!! Would recommend this to anyone who is considering having a BA.

Thanks Makenzie. At times I felt like I should have gone bigger but at the time of trying on the sizes, there is no way in the world that I would have gone bigger, so I am definitely happy that I went bigger of the two I was considering.

Hi belle, I had a consultation at parkside with doctor Higgs! It was my first consultation but I was very happy with him and his staff, Are you still happy with your augmentation? Was doctor Higgs good to deal with the entire time before as well as after?

Hi Ori02 Dr Higgs was great to deal with. I had no other consultations as I felt comfortable with him immediately. Very happy with my result and its been 2.5 years now and they haven't changed at all. Thrilled with my decision of getting them done & surgeon I chose :) the whole experience at Parkside was excellent. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Nurses are all lovely too. Cathy is great and the nurse pre/post op was so caring and lovely. Hope this helps!

So I had my operation 2 days ago and still pinching myself. I can't believe it has actually happened and I am very happy with the outcome. I am in a lot of pain though, totally underestimated how much pain I would have. I thought I would breeze through it for some reason but night time has been the hardest. I am normally a side-sleeper but I have had to sleep on my back which has been uncomfortable and getting up in the middle of the night to take more meds has been difficult. I tried getting up on my own the first night and ended up in tears I was in that much pain and my hubby jumped out of bed to help. I now wake him when I need to get up. I havent been able to do anything around the house, that has been hard. I am normally on my feet all the time, continually tidying etc but I have become a couch potato, watching the world go by ... so hard. Kinda funny I now have a round belly. Guess that's what no exercise does - any advice? Maybe I need to go on a water & salad diet for 6 weeks until I can exercise again!
I have posted before & after pics. I am so rapt with my results. I barely fit an A cup before so now I'm a full C. Very happy. I'm really looking forward to cleaning out my wardrobe and going shopping for new clothes and bras.
Will post another pic in a week

I can't believe only 6 more sleeps :-) I feel like a child at Christmas time. I have to start my meds on Sunday and had another read of info prior to operation and glad I'm not on any other medication as I probably would have forgotten - no medication 2 weeks prior to op. Also suggests a couple of vitamins to take a week before but I take a multi-vitamin anyway so should be ok. Urine test Monday, hope I dont forget to do it!

So excited for the big day.

Would like to add before and after pics... hope to soon.

Wish me luck......
