“A Diary of my Microdermabrasion Progress”

I went to a medical spa about my skin problems. Though I do not have bad acne I have red marks leftover from previous breakouts. I hate them so much! The Estitition (sorry about the spelling) told me to do six session of microdermabrasion along with light chemical peels.

Yesterday I had my first one. She cleaned my face then started the microdermabrasion. I have very sensitive skin so I was prepared for it to be painful, but it wasn't at all. It feels like a cats tongue. She did three rounds on my intire face. Then she did a light chemical peel.When I came out of the office and looked in the mirror I looked awful. The red marks were very red and I started thinking twice on the money I had just spent. She told me though that it definitelty looks worse afterwards.

First Treatment

This morning when I got up, it still looked red but had definitely calmed down a bit. My red marks do not look different though but tomarow I will see if they have at all faded.My skin is very soft though.

I will keep updating every treatment and day.

it is my second day since my procedure and my acne marks have actually faded a bit. My skin is still soft too. I am excited to see the results as I get more and more procedures done!

Third day since my first reatment. My skin is no longer baby soft but the marks have definitely faded a little.

six days after treament one. My skin looks bad today, and the scars look the same or worse then they did befor the treament. I dont know what is happening

Second Treatment:

Today I had my second treatment. The estitition said my marks looked lighter but I havn't really noticed. Today my face was much redder then last time. I will update tomarow

Second treatment:

Though it was very red at first for a couple days my second treament has been a sucess. so its beeen one week since my second micro and my acne scars have faded a lot actually. My skin looks so much better then it did! The color is brighter and smooother and my scars have faded about 60%. im due for my next one in about five days!

Third treament

Today I had my third treatment. Once again my sopts were very red afterward but the estitition say they look soo much better! I am just wondering when even after they have been rubbed on my marks will not be there.

had my fifth micro on friday(two days ago). She did it harder then ever before this time. When I went into the bathroom my redspots and face were so so so so red and my cheek where she worked the hardest had almost like a hickey on it. It scared the crap out of me. It has been two days and its getting better. Im excited to see what it looks like in a week becuase since she went so hard the red spots will probably look so much better. Wish me luck!!
