3 weeks post op

I can’t believe I’m at 3 weeks now! I had a 2 solid weeks off of work and now I’m back at my very high demand, fast paced job in a kitchen and I am very sore. I don’t lift but I use my arms and core more often than I think I do and my back will start aching after 6 hours of being on my feet straight. I’m only taking Tylenol and ibuprofen for back aches. I feel pretty energetic and can’t believe I’m only 3 weeks out of surgery because I do feel great.
My breasts are slowly dropping but I’m hoping they will soften at some point. My belly button is pretty small but I think it’s because of all of the swelling, so I’ll see in a few weeks how it looks. And my steritape is finally off and I think my scars are looking pretty good so far. I’ve heard Asian skin scars pretty bad so I’ll start the scar therapy soon to help reduce the height of it and color.
I hope everyone out there is healing well and I hope my journey can help someone out there that is on the fence with it like I was. Love to all!

9 days post op

Hi ladies, I hope everyone recovering is doing well! I’ve been doing really well. I’m only on Tylenol and ibufrofen to help with the TT aches but I’ve been doing great with energy and am not in any pain except slight discomfort when I cough & sneeze now.

My bruised vagina is getting lighter and you can see it spread on my thighs but it’s dissapating well. My range of motion for my arms is great, there’s nothing I feel I can’t do except for lift. I worked on paperwork at my shops and walked around for half of the day for several days and felt a bit hunched over when I was done and I definitely get swollen at the end of the day.

My right breast has dropped more and the left is definitely still sitting high. My belly is dry and flaking so I’ve been putting some lotion on just my belly and not the belly button so it heals up well.

My tummy tuck scar is still behind the steritape so I’m still not sure on how it looks but everything seems to be looking like it’s healing well so far.

We started driving 18 hours to a wedding today and we are splitting up the hours between 2 days so that I can walk every 2-3 hours. So the pictures are in the hotel and you can see how I look in the swimsuit I brought to look pretty on the side of the pool. Don’t worry, I’m not allowed to soak and I know!

Happy healing ladies! Xoxo

Coughing

Omg it’s no laughing matter, whatever you do, DO NOT COUGH after a TT. I was off the narcotics until I about choked on my own spit, coughed twice, and called my husband to grab the Percocet last night. It feels like I pulled every stitch but everything looks fine so I know I’ll be alright. But even the morning after, I’m still sore from coughing. Geez, who knew?!?
