Hi! Today is two weeks since I had my Restylane treatment around my mouth (chin, smile lines and above my top lip). I hate my lip lines so much and was so excited to try this. I not only bruised and swelled awful, but now that everything is finally calm I still see the majority of the wrinkles and now a lump of filler I guess above my lip which my doctor said I should enjoy, I will miss it when it is gone because it will be another wrinkle.She wants me to try Sculptra but am now way too scared?
I had Restylane injected in my lips April 11, this is Day 15.. I have bumps on my lips that are noticeable when I smile. Looks a little like blisters but when I rub my tongue over my lips they feel like hard knots. Will this sub-side and how long should it take?
I had .5 of restylane put under my eyes two weeks ago and it didn't really fix the problem, circles still there, so yesterday my doc put .4 more under each eye. This time though i'm extrememly swollen, especially under the left as you can see in the photo. My doc pushed quite forcibly after the injection to smooth it out, etc this time. She is an experienced dermatolgoist. WIll this go away? She has prescirbed topicort for me, is that ok to take? Should I do warm or cold compress? help!
I has restylane injected in my tear troughs 17 days ago. I har minimal swelling and brusing and it looked great at first (my other eye looks good). However, after a couple of days I noticed that I had a bump of so sort under my left eye. I went back and was told I should wait until my follow-up session which is two days from now. The bump is not as visible as before, however in certain lights I can see the filler. It looks white and makes the area appear bumpy and uneven. It has no blue tint.
I got Restylane injected under my eyes 2weeks ago today. The swelling is now gone, but there is a lump under one eye that now is making me look like I have an eye bag. The lump is also discolored and even with makeup it looks like I'm covering a bruise. The PA said he under filled and would see me in 2 weeks to place more, but I hate how I look right now. Each eye looks diffr. Will removing the restlyane have side effects? Will I get bags if I remove it because the lump is stretching my skin out
Almost 2 weeks ago, I had restylane injected into my tear troughs One side shows some improvement, but the other side does not. Also, both sides have raised areas or bumps, but one side looks worse than the other. Should I give it more time or is this the way I'm going to look?
I had my under-eye hollows filled with Restylane 2 weeks ago; I am no longer swollen, and there has been some improvement to that tear-trough area. However, the skin above my eyelids (the skin located between my eyebrow and the crease of my eyelids), are now puffing over like hoods, my eyelids have shrunken, even my upper lash lines are now tucked up under the hooding eye skin. Did the Restylane migrate around my eye socket & into my upper lids? & if so, what can be done about it?
I had restylane done under my eyes 2 weeks ago and have unfortunately developed Malar Edema. I will be having the filler reversed but not before my sisters wedding which is this weekend; I just cant risk any bruising or additional swelling. Ive been taking Zyrtec and added Benadryl last night. What can I do to reduce/minimize the awful appearance? Prednisone? Diuretic? Heat? Ice? Massage? Vibration? Im open to any and all suggestions.
I had restalyne injected in my tear troughs 17 days ago. I went back to my provider after a week because I had lumps under each eye and I wasnt sure if it was product that needed massaging or adjusting, or swelling. He said that Hyaluronic acid attracts water, and it was most likely water retention that would go away. It is now another week and a half later and it hasnt changed. Is there a chance it will go away anytime soon? Is there any way to make it better?
May 16th I received Restylane filler in my tear troughs with cannula method. Had hardly any swelling or discoloration/bruising around eyes. Under my right eye I developed a reddish discolored line and there is a an aching feeling on the area. I was worried of an infection, so May 31st visited with my provider assured me not infection. Im wondering if filler was placed too low and why discoloration is happening so late? Should the filler dissolved? Is this discoloration permanent?
