I had a consultation today with a doctor that told me I would need at least 6mls of radiesse for both cheeks and my chin. I don't have any major wrinkles or anything, but I want some volume in my nasolabial fold area, cheekbones, and volume for a more prominent chin. I was thinking 6mls is a lot for a 23 year old (I have decent fat in my face)? For 6 mls, he was charging around 3,000 CAD. In this case, is 1 ml adequate to 1 syringe?
As part of an acne scar treatment (subcision) I had Radiesse (1:1 diluted, 1ml for both cheeks) injected in the subcutaneous. Ever since my chin and jaw have doubled in size (look many and aged) and are just undefined. It almost seems like filler is under my jaw/chin looking like a puffy double chin. It either has to be something with the filler or the cannula subcision (sagging, ligament damage). Did not gain weight. Is it realistic that this might be a temporary problem only? Thanks!
I have had Radiesse in my cheeks and nasolabial folds. Three years later it is still not gone down a bit. When will it go away? And also I got festoons because of it. Can I fix the festoons? I am so sad :( my children tell me my face is different when I smile
I have had filler in my face for 15 years. The last filler in my cheek I found out was Radiesse. Since my thyroid cancer my skin has been super sensitive and rejecting the filler so I went to try and have it removed. Now it is everywhere and feels more like rubber its super painful. I cannot find anyone to surgically remove it in Utah. What are my options
I'm 26 and while I dont have many wrinkles, I have deep nasolabial folds. I also dont like my side profile as I feel like I have no cheekbones. My question is, what would I benefit most from- cheek or nasolabial fold filler? I feel like my chin is ok and is well augmented, but I just don't like my side profile still. What would you suggest and what fillers would you suggest?
I have been getting filler for a year now, in June I was injected with radiesse for cheeks. I have been getting this indent on the left side of my face for a few months, when I smile. I had my cheek injected where the indent was and within a few weeks it's back! It will look nice and full for a few weeks and then it starts coming back! Why is this happening??
I had one needle of Radiesse injected 2weeks ago . The one needle was injected into both cheeks and the folds. I have had jervaderm done in the past placed just in the folds but never had this. Is this normal? Can it be fixed? I realize its minor but my face is my job in the industry I work in and little changes to it really matter.. The lines/ ripples in my cheeks were not present before the injection and I don't have dimples. It looks like I gained wrinkles:(
I had Radiesse injected into my cheeks 6 days ago. The right side has a small bruise and is puffier than the left. As well, my lower cheeks and nose-to-mouth area appear MUCH too full. Also, my eyes appear set back and the tear trough is more pronounced. My question: Is there a way to off-set this look and improve my appearance? Would placing another filler in other areas (e.g., tear trough, high on cheek bone, etc.) help to create the look I want (see photos below)? Suggestions please!
