I just came back from the Dr like an hour ago. It was kind of a quick appointment, I just told him I wanted my lips and my cheeks done, he used Voluma Plus in my cheeks and Juvederm Plus in my lips (he wanted to do Voluma in my lips but after he did my cheeks I opted out of that one and went with something less thick) Should I push down on the product to push it lower on my face? Will it settle? Im in a lot of pain its giving me a really bad headache on my left side, which is the more swollen side.
i have feeling it was my docs first time using voluma as here everyone uses ultra 4... Anyways first time she inserted a thinner needle(canule) and was pushing like a mad woman..my left cheek seems to hurt more it is also lumpy and seems strange ..my right cheek is perfect ,,does not hurt and did not during the proceedure unlike my left one..should i have patience and wait a few days? should i massage it?
I got fillers back in February. I got Voluma injected into my cheek bones, the swelling was really bad for weeks, and extremely painful, not to mention it was injected way too high on my face and near the corners of my eyes. I've been getting really bad headaches recently and the tops of my cheekbones hurt whenever I get these head aches. I'm not sure if its my wisdom teeth or these fillers, but I'd like to get checked out because skeptical as to what this Dr. actually put in my cheeks.
I got Voluma injected in my upper cheeks exactly 4 months ago. I had pain, swelling, and bruising for about 3 weeks but have had no problems since. Until two days ago. My right cheek started hurting where I have filler. Its sore to the touch but also hurts if I make any kind of expression or talk. If my face isnt moving its just a dull sort of ache. This morning my left cheek started feeling the same way, only where I have filler. Do I need to be worried?
The most swollen side was very painful when the cannula was inserted. Could damage have been caused? on Prednisone for 10 days now and also antihistamines/antibiotics.soon as I stop Prednisone for 1 day the swelling returns to my cheek and underneath both eyes and even my lips. My GP has organised blood tests but I cant help but think it might be related to the filler. What could it be and how should it be treated. My face looks awful and Im becoming increasingly worried.
I had a half syringe of Voluma five days ago in my left cheek. Right after the injection my upper top lip, cheek, and upper set of left teeth went numb--then woke up 2 hours later. 3 days ago, I woke up to same sensation and 1/2 hour later my face began to regain normal feeling. Sensation has happened about 6 times since, mostly when I am laying down at night. Sleeping is difficult. It seems to go away when I'm up and around. Is this something that can get worse? What action should I take?
I had voluma injection 1 ml in each cheek sux days ago.on sixth day i m having intermittent pain in left gum and teeth .i also had 2 times a feeling of numbness of my left upper lip that lasted for few minutes .i am reading a lot about complications and starting to get panic .could it be vascular occlusion or nerve damage?
Hi - soon after (few hours) i had voluma in my mid cheeks - one side is really throbbing deeply and looks slightly swollen and hard (not red). The other cheek is perfect with no problems at all! I know swelling and hardness can be normal and take about 2 weeks to settle - but the throbbing pain is really intense almost like a drill on the bone. Im pretty sure its not an infection. Please can someone advise what this throbbing pain could be please and whats best to do as I'm in pain! Many Thanks
A surgeon injected my temple area and outer corner of eye with voluma. Ever since I have had horrible headaches and sinus pressure on the side of injection site. My temple area feels like someone is pushing in on it and causing pain. Could this be from the voluma? Thanks
I had voluma injected in acne scars in my cheeks . I have been I. The worst pain ever along my jaw line and I'm red and swollen and it travels to my chin and under my chin is all swollen by my throat and toward the left side of my neck and jaw area . I thought it might of been an infection it was warm and red and swollen and painful so I have been taking antibiotic and it's not helping . My doctor said to take Advil for the inflammation and pain it's not really helping am I allergic to it . Help
