I had a lower facelift and platysmaplasty in July of 2022. I have given my body 15 months to heal but Im not sure if I need more time. I have a lump in my neck (too high to be thyroid) and I am still a little bumpy/uneven under my chin along with a little divot. I asked my doctor about the lump, and he said I should speak to my primary care physician. Have you seen anything like this before with a neck lift? Is a revision necessary to smooth out the lumps? Thanks.
I am four months post neck lift. When I saw my surgeon for follow-up I expressed concerns over the uneven contour of neck especially on the one side where the skin hangs down more. He put Botox in that area and said if it was still there in a year he might try a thread. I'm concerned as I choose a surgical intervention for a permanent result. Is this something that will get better with time? What is causing the skin to sag on only one side? What's the best resolution?
60 year old female. 11 months post procedure. Ellevate suture suspension / Facetite and Morpheus 8 procedure . Line and puckering immediately after procedure. Doctor loosened sutures. Now 11 months later have uneven puckering and scar. How to fix? Thank you
3 mo PO platysmaplasty and fat grafting. Top celebrity double board certified very $$ doc did plastysmaplasty (no fat or skin removed, just muscle work) and fat grafting 14 months after submental lipo that was too aggressive leaving unevenness, hollows, striations, banding. Revision was 3 months ago and everything much worse, skin completely uneven especially when I turn my head. Have fullness on right side of jaw that wasn't there before (looks like misplaced muscle). I'm not fully healed yet but what can be done? I'm only 32.
How to treat cobra neck due to over aggressive lipo 10yrs ago. I had a face lift 2 years ago but I was told that due to the scar tissue, that fat couldn't be injected into the hollow. My profile is different on each side due to the uneven lumps on sides of indention. Extra skin bands drive me crazy. Is there anything that can be done?
I'm a 31 yo male, and I had a neck lift (platysmaplasty + lipo) 2 months ago. However, about 80% of the affected area is still numb and the right side under my chin is clearly bulkier than left side. I also lost my beard in several areas under my chin and those bare spots are very noticeable. Question #1 Will my beard grow back under my chin? Question # 2 - Can I expect any further improvement on the right side of my chin or am I passed the swelling phase? Thanks in advance!
For a while now my right sterno muscle has been really tense and bothersome, and it's really hard to focus in class because of this. I find that whenever I sit down it becomes much more tense. I also noticed that it appears to be thicker then on the left side. Can you tell me what's wrong with me and how to fix it?
Recently, I've noticed that my neck/shoulder muscles are uneven. It's not a huge difference, but my right side looks longer than my left because the muscles are higher. I have a short neck to begin with, so I would like to get as much length as possible. I read that you can use Botox to block muscles in the calves, so I was wondering if the same technique could be applied here. Stretches haven't really done anything. Also, would my neck look even shorter if I were to get a chin implant?
