I'm 52 and last year (2018) I went from about 148 lbs to 114 lbs (due to a stressful event) within a span of about 7 months [I'm 5' 6 1/2 for reference]. I would really like to get rid of my excess rippling/sagging neck skin and I hope that a less invasive procedure with less stitches would be enough to address this and correct with some localized skin removal ( I don't mind a faint scar) and/or a minimally invasive 'mini neck-lift' aka the 'SIMI'. Thank you so much!
I'm 47. 3 years ago I had a facelift to improve some saggy skin under my chin. I also did an eyebrow lift. Since - I have ripples under my chin, and a what looks like a saggy jawline that I didn't notice before surgery. My neck also looks different. It was not a neck lift, yet the skin on my neck looks older too. I really want to improve the situation because I look my older than my age. But I prefer to go for non invasive solutions first, because the healing was difficult for me after the procedure.
Do you think my neck will ever look normal? I am so uncomfortable. My neck is so tight snd can barely look up. My PS just keeps saying be patient. I have had five lymphatic drainage massages..
Had a necklift to correct platysma band which slightly helped... 4 years later it still bothered me and doctor suggested submental platysmaplasty which resulted in a HORRIBLE double chin and tight muscle from under chin to lower neck. I now have what looks like a double chin and lots of loose skin under chin... also rippling at jawline... what can be done at this point? I look and feel horrible and have done other things that I am pleased with but neck detraccts severely
