I had quite a bit of swelling Monday through Wednesday after lip injections. 1ml was injected into my (small) lips on top of .5 injected at the beginning of April. My lips still feel a bit tight, and most of the swelling is gone but I still feel a bit tingly/swollen. They appear to be healing fine, but when I smile or even stretch my mouth open a bit, my lips feel tight and blanch up. Is this just from continued swelling?
I got my lips done a week ago and the swelling is pretty much completely gone. I had chapped lips early yesterday and the skin was peeling off so I took the skin off and it irritated my lip so much that there is a huge lump where the skin was peeled off that has not gone away since. Should I be concerned? Can the lip filler cause extra inflammation when you get a wound? Or could it be something more serious?
I had a conservative amount of filler injected into my upper lip about a week ago. I wanted to achieve a more plump look and gain more volume, which I have, but I am not too happy with the vermilion border. Its too stale and rolled up, which gives me a slight duck look in profile. I only wanted to change the size of my upper lip, not the definition. Is it possible to avoid the vermilion border next time and inject the filler in the bottom/center of the upper lip instead of injecting it in or below the border?
I have had 1ml Revolax filler 5 days ago, bottom lip fine, top lip has big gap in the middle and a white lump, doesnt seem right to me. This is my second ml of Revolax. 7 months later, I went to a different injector this time. I have iced and massaged, I went back to her today and she massaged them VERY firmly. It hurt a lot and they looked a bit better after but now they seem to have gone back. Should I just wait longer or is this abnormal? Thanks
I got my lips injected with 1ml fillers, and its been 3 days and I definetely regret doing it and hate the uneven and fake results. The upper lip looks really bad with a pump in the middle. Can I dissolve the filler in the same week of getting them injected? Or how long should i wait? And if the material is injected to dissolve them how many days will it take to be free of fillers. I received 0.8ml of stylage m. Very minimal swelling, pain and bruising. 5 days have passed and everything feels great and healed (except very slight tenderness at injection site) My only concern is my right lymph node under my ear is VERY swollen and tender. Its been swollen since the day after I received filler (total 5 days) with no improvement. Should I be worried ? I wasnt sick at the time of my appt and I feel totally fine except for the one swollen lymph node. Help - thanks
