Hello, I'm looking to remove facial dimples. Unfortunately I am not referring to the cute cheek dimples, I'm referring to some unusual dimples under my mouth on either side of my chin that only appear when I talk or make certain expressions. I'm having a hard time finding anyone who could or would do this. Is it not possible? Does anyone do this?
I have done a dimple creation surgery using dissolvable sutures and they disappeared within 2 years. I visited two doctors that had different opinions, one said I should re-do the surgery by using permanent sutures and the other suggested to use permanent sutures but to take them out after 1 week for fear of infection. Any recommendations or risks for either option? I do want permanent dimples so I dont want to keep repeating the same procedure. Thank you!
There is a doctor offering dimpleplasty using cone threads in my area and will not show before and afters. This is a groupon offer, so i am totally skeptical, plus i can't find anything about this procedure anywhere. Is this an unproven ill advised way to obtain dimples?
I am planning to get braces in March 2023 and to compliment my new brace-face I will also be getting Dimpleplasty however- I'm not sure in which order to do them in! I know that braces can slightly change the structure of the face and of course I dont want lopsided dimples, seeing that they are usually permanent. Therefore I don't know if I should get the dimples and then after the sutures dissolve have my braces put on OR vice versa. Please Help!!!
Is it possible to locate a dimple down below your bottom of your mouth rather than on both cheeks? Similar to the dimple Jennifer Lawrence has. Can you have just one and not both on either side of cheeks? Also, I am old ( 58)but skin is very good condition. Can you control the depth of dimple
Hi Doctors, I've considered getting Dimple Surgery on both my cheeks for a long time now. I find them to be quite appealing and attractive on just about anyone . Due to research I have noticed a number of people who gone through the procedure saying that the dimple went away and thus not being worth the time or money. I would like to do the surgery ONLY if the dimples last. I would like to know the cause of them disappearing on some people?
I am looking to get dimpleplasty. I would like o know how long it takes on average for he dimples to look natural and disappear when not smiling? I've seen pictures and it appears that the holes are present at rest for a while. I'm also looking for a reputable uk surgeon who offers this procedure. Many thanks
I am keen on getting dimpleplasty but am during the process when the indentation still shows when you're not smiling, will getting a little filler in the indentation cover this up? Will it make it less obvious? Will it affect the dimple recovery at all? The only thing stopping me from getting dimpleplasty is the recovery period where i will have a deep indentation showing even when im not smiling, making it obvious i had plastic surgery done. thanks
I had an accident that left a large, unsightly dimple. I had a fat transfer to the area, and now it is more asymmetrical and more bulging. Next, the surgeon suggested he cut into the scar (creating another scar) and place some fascia there. I was looking at surgeons who did dimple surgery and was thinking I could get reverse dimple surgery, although my dimple is high on the cheek.
