Hi I went to see two surgeons . One of them said he could remove 3 mm of tissue from each nostril; another one said 5 mm can be removed from each. My concern is (since I have frequent sinus and have breathing issue all the time )my nostrils will be over trimmed and will face breathing issue after the procedure .
I have been thinking about rhinoplasty for long, but recovery time and general anesthesia are deal breakers for me.. The thing that bothers me about my nose most is the bulbous tip, and wide uneven nostrils. I do recognize that my nose has sharp side profile and hump, but i feel like that doesnt bother me that much. I just want a more feminine nose. Do you think alarplasty + tip plasty would work for me? I do recognize that full rhinoplasty would be best, but i think im not brave enough.
Hi everyone. I really dont like the width of my nose, but I do like the shape and height of my bridge; although its pretty low. Ive been wanting to get an alarplasty and also a tip plasty. Would cartilage be required for tip plasty?
just wondering if an alarplasty will be able to narrow my nostrils and decrease some flare but keep my profile the same. I like my nose at rest, but when I smile it looks bulbous and huge. Will the alarplasty narrow my nose enough without impacting my breathing and also not have a significant change in my profile ? Iwonder if the alarplasty will look natural and difficult for people who see me everyday to know that a procedure was done. Does my nose require more tip support or bridge change?
I have been on accutane for 2 months as a 5'9, 160lb male. I have stopped taking it for 2 weeks now as I want to get plastic surgery in ~3 months. I was at a 30mg dose, which is below the minimum threshold of 0.5mg per kg. I want to get an alarplasty and lower blepharoplasty in one sitting and am wondering if 3 months is enough to wait. I don't want to wait 6 months as it also seems unnecessary, since that's for full large dose accutane treatments not below-minimum doses.
Hi, im wondering if I should get a alarplasty. I'm a woman with a large nose and large nostrils that kind of naturally flare, I want to look more feminine and have my nose looks less wide at the sides. Would alarplasty be the way to go?
I quite like my right side profile ( even when smiling) but my left side especially when I smile is very uneven in comparison to my left. Is it because my alar seems wider on my left especially when I smile. Also on my left side profile theres seems to be what seems like an indentation ( seen in picture two) could this be another reason for the asymmetry? What can I do to make my left look like my right side profile.
