Procedure to Treat White Patches of Skin?

I have been under treatment and consuming homoepathic medicine for more than 6 months now but there have been no changes whatsoever. I'm from India and my skin is brown.

I have a big white patch on the neck, small patch on left leg, small spots appearing on both my elbows. I'm engaged and getting married in 3 months and really worried.

I want to have surgery on prominent areas only and want to know if my husband or kids would be affected in any way?
