Answer: Mommy makeover When planning a mommy makeover to address multiple areas of concern, it's essential to prioritize which procedures to start with based on your individual needs, goals, and recovery considerations. Here are some factors to consider when deciding which procedure to start with: Physical Health: Consider your current physical health and any medical conditions that may impact your ability to undergo surgery or recover effectively. Starting with procedures that are less invasive or have shorter recovery times may be advisable if you have any health concerns or limitations. Areas of Concern: Identify which areas of your body you are most concerned about and prioritize procedures that will address those areas first. Common procedures included in a mommy makeover may include breast augmentation, breast lift, tummy tuck, liposuction, and buttock enhancement. Discuss your goals with your plastic surgeon to determine which procedures will provide the most significant improvement for you. Recovery Time: Consider the recovery time associated with each procedure and how it will impact your daily activities, work, and family responsibilities. Starting with procedures that have shorter recovery times may allow you to resume normal activities sooner and better manage your overall recovery process. Combination Procedures: Some procedures can be performed simultaneously to minimize overall downtime and achieve more comprehensive results in a single surgery. Your plastic surgeon can advise you on which combination procedures may be suitable based on your individual anatomy and goals. Budget: Consider the cost of each procedure and how it fits into your budget. Starting with one procedure at a time may be more manageable financially, allowing you to spread out the cost of your mommy makeover over time. Ultimately, the decision of which procedure to start with should be based on your individual priorities and circumstances. Consulting with a board-certified plastic surgeon who has experience performing mommy makeovers can provide valuable guidance and help you develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your goals and expectations. They can assess your unique anatomy, discuss your concerns, and recommend the most appropriate sequence of procedures to achieve your desired results safely and effectively.

Answer: Bellesoma Method, tummy tuck and liposuction I always do the breast lift first. If the abdomen is done first then it will pull the breasts down lower and make it more difficult to raise the breasts as high as possible. The breast lift technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. This technique also lifts the upper portion of the abdomen. If you do the tummy tuck later, you can have liposuction of the flanks at the same time and fat can be transferred to the breasts if additional volume is desired. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Combined breast and tummy mommy makeover is safe Unless there is a specific reason to stage the breast surgery and tummy tuck, they are almost always done together. Factors that could change that are if you are having circumferential lipo with the tummy tuck, which takes extra time, or if the plan exceeds 6 hours. If you do stage them, do the tummy tuck first because there could be some traction that might affect the level of the inframammary fold.
