Thank you for your question. I recommendconsulting with your doctor about V-Shape; this new radiofrequency device willrelease fat while tightening the skin. The upper arms is a great area to treatand you will see results in no time!
Ultherapy has been shown to help tighten the skin for laxity in the arma areas.Velashape can also help using RF technology and IR trreatments. The superficial skin structures can be tightened, cellulite reduced and RF energy can help reduce underlying fat deposits, reducing arm circumference.
Vela Shape can reduce the circumference of the arms. In addition, Vela can improve the skin quality resulting in firmer, tighter skin.
Thank you for your question. At my practice, I do not use Velashape. Instead, I would suggest other treatments like CoolSculpting or Vaser Hi Def, which have shown very positive results for reducing fat.
You can expect temporary improvement in skin texture and turgor with modest circumferential reduction after 8-12 treatments. Results will require repeat treatments for maintenance.
I have used the Velahape for years to treat arms; however, I would say the results have just been decent. I recently acquired a Venus Freeze machine and those results have been tremendously more successful and my patients who are undergoing arm treatments are happier with this treatment than they were with the Velashape. I'd try to find someone in your area with a Venus Freeze.

In regards to the thighs and hips, a combination of Velashape III and Ultrashape will give you realistic and improved reduction in cellulite and circumferential body slimming and fat reduction. The amount of fat in the love handles and under bra areas may be better served with liposuction...
You may have had Velashape as in the earlier versions of the device 3 years ago.As of this writing (February 2015), Velashape III is the latest permutation and 'new generation' device and is very well tolerated with little discomfort during and after the procedure.
Research has shown that the underlying mechanism of action is reduction in the subcutaneous adipose tissue volume and intensification of dermal matrix density. Increased fat cell metabolism ans softening of the fibrous cords that cause cellulite. Hormonal manipulation may alter water...
It would be wise to wait until after you are breastfeeding to start Velashape or any cosmetic procedures. This is best for the safety of the baby.
Thank you for your question. Depending on where you live, the requirements for treatments differs. I think it is always best to consult with a board-certified doctor before undergoing treatment. Best of luck.
